You're 2 for 2 with TCG Bulk Value orders that went to Grading before mine, despite entering R&ID after mine

No idea. My other order was a Gamestop sub, which has always been significantly faster for me.

That's actually the standard now for value bulk.

Cards arrive at PSA and take a month before they are officially "received", and the clock doesn't start until then. Then it's about 2-3 months as value bulk is the lowest priority.

Sucks.

Yikes, I completely misread his post.... The grades popped today. I thought it went into Order Prep today.... God it's been a long day...

I have a 3-card Value Plus order that has been in Grading for a week now. It's such an outlier from my 20 submissions this year & last. Grading has always been the fastest step for me, with half the orders moving to Assembly in just a day or two, max 3 days.

Been about a five week wait now for the assembly process on a value bulk 1980- order.
Tough seeing all these other folks go from graded straight on past the assembly phase in less than a week.

I know it's not 5 weeks, but mine just hit a week in assembly today. If I get an upcharge email, that's fine, I just want to know what the grades are!

Okay cool, I check the website a few hours later and it still has the wrong label, so its still the "old" photo. So I email them back, "hey on my end it still the same, im just confirming we are changing this variety to that variety"

They reply back quickly, start the email off with "I'm so sorry--" apologizing and basically the label wasnt worked on at all and I was put in the "ship" phase so now she says shes asking for it to be reviewed again.

Well good thing I emailed them or they wouldn't have changed the MORE VALUABLE parallel which they probably would have bought back from me in their Vault. A Shining Armor 10 of Mahomes is worth way more than a Knight's Templar (they look the same) lol. I like PSA and want to do business with them and I'm not a thief, I want this taken care of.

I would survey that I'm not satisfied at this point and have no confidence that this will be handed off with the proper communication. I'm fine with them moving my estimated completion day to May 14th to June 5th aslong as it gets worked on but I have no confidence its getting properly worked on so that June 5th could be much longer. (the whole order was 4 cards, lets just get it done already)

I'm gonna give them the week and then email them on Friday for an update. I think?

I'm blogging this just in case they are reading and its good to put a real customer experience on paper.
I waited til Friday like I said, I emailed the this morning, to the email thread that the customer service lady was helping me, asking for help again since I have had zero communication since Monday and I think I got an automated response back.

PSA has to do better here. I’m not sure what to do next. The sage continues.

On the order page, they changed the text to the correct variety but the photo of the slab is still the old photo.

A thing happened!

Grades dropped for the first order. Going to make a separate post with reveal on grades. A couple headscratchers (including one that I think is actually 2 grades higher than it should be, and quite a few 9s that were as good as the 10s). No upcharges, so that was nice.

Kind of thought doing a reveal with images would be fun, but realized I don't have a place currently at the moment that I can host images that the account is still good, and the SSL on my webhost expired and I can't seem to get it to renew... Oh well, I'll just post details here:

10s = 11
9s = 17
7s = 1

So, some oddities here - I compared all of these cards to each other as I was prepping them, and most of the 9s I really can't say looked any different than the 10s (even within the same year/set/card). That said, 2 cards got 10s that I was not expecting to, one with scratches at the top that while superficial were there, it was a 2014 Prizm Jordy Nelson Red White Blue with pack scratches at the top. I thought that one was bad enough that I bought 20 other cheap copies, subbed one to SGC and got a 10 on it thinking this was going to be a 8 or worse. The other had a small surface issue, although I might have been too critical on it as it was exceptionally small and I had to really stare at it to see it, but I can't complain about this one.

Of the 9s, a couple, like the 2014 Prizm Pink Jordy, I knew had some exceptionally minor issues. So, several of these I am not surprised about. Ones that I was surprised about were the 2012 Prizm Gold Jordy, a 2013 Prizm Cornerstones Purple Aaron Rodgers, and the 2014 Prizm Tie Dyed and Gold Jordys.

The one that really throws me off is the 2014 Prizm Red Jordy, which was the 7. No idea why this would have gotten a 7, as I would expect a 7 to have something majorly wrong with it, like a dinged corner or a decent surface scratch or something, but I'm almost wondering if the Red should have gotten the 10 and the Red White Blue should have gotten the 7, and they just mixed up which card was which when they marked down the grades.ETA: just looking at the scan of the graded card for the RWB again, in the bottom right corner where the green is that shows damage easily, I can see some marks that I'm fairly certain would have prevented it from getting a 10. Looking at the Red as well, I might be resubbing that one, as unless I missed some super major flaw on it (which is possible), I'm really thinking at this point they swapped the grades on accident.

I will say, though, this is probably my favorite from the bunch. Looks awesome in the case!

Just to note, you can always drag all images into the web browser here:

https://imgur.com/

Then, just click the three dots on any image you uploaded, and select "Get Share Links" and paste in the "BBCode (Forums)" link when clicking "Copy Link"

It free for hosting any images to share here.

Just a heads up from someone who loves seeing the cards themselves in posts.
