1985 Topps Cello Box #1

I got a few 1985 Topps Cello boxes. Overall pretty distributed hits, all the cards were really dirty from the powdered gum etc, and as typical 1985 centering was off on 75%.

thought I got a pretty good deal $360 each, but not sure.

Congratulations on the two McGwires. I bought an "unopened" vending box many years ago on Ebay from sellers that said they were lawyers working in DC, and did not pull any McGwires, Puckett, or any top rookie. Was it searched??

So I have opened several Cello and then several clear hangers. I think those are harder to search through except top/bottom and I think there were patterns you could predict what cards in middle based on what was showing.

box to box it was strange I wouldn't get any hits of one player, but then multiples of another. I just opened a 1985 Leaf and no Clemens, but 3 Pucketts in same box.
