Default Help With Value - 2019 Topps Chrome Islam Makhachev RC

Hi everyone! Was looking through some UFC cards I bought a while back and researching values. I have this Islam Makhachev 2019 Topps Chrome Green Refractor RC /99.

I can comp football, baseball, basketball all day long - but this card (and this fighter) seems to be all over the place. Any idea what I should price this at? His stuff really seems to fluctuate month to month. This card will most likely 8 or 9 - don't think it will 10. Thanks in advance for any help!

LIVE
PSA 9 - $1500 OBO
PSA 10 - $850 OBO w/ 38 Watchers
SGC 9 - $56.00 At Auction w/ 8 Days Left

SOLD
PSA 10 - $555 in January

It is so very hard to comp out raw cards when there are only graded versions to consider.
I see the PSA 10 sale @555, also raw refractors @80-100 and an X-fractor @180, then a raw /75 sold for $650 in January.....
Toss it out at $400-$450, with detailed pictures and accurate description. If it does not sell in a month or 2, drop it $50. Someone will pick it up.

This is probably the way to go. I'd start it $395 obo if psa10 went $555. ^^^
The others listed don't matter... only sold values.

Grading would be a real risk if you see flaws, and you'd be in trouble if it graded poorly... or he lost the belt or got hurt in the time to get it graded. No need to add more risk; we all know UFC cards can drop FAST. It'd be best to get this sold while he has the belt (waiting for the 05/10/25 Maddalena fight, by all accounts).

Talented fighter, but not young and not very popular with fans / cards overall (doesn't speak English well, not flashy, not good looking). He just won't ever be Conor, Suga, GSP, Matt Huges, Tito, etc popular).

It'd be good to sell before his next fight, likely to be in late 2025 vs Maddalena. Izzy will have a lot harder fight against a bigger guy on a hot streak in that one. You have time, so I would not force a sale with auction unless absolutely no takers/offers with BIN+offer. GL

Dropping one of the best fighters and current champion in The UFC’s RC /99 from an established brand like Chrome to $50 lol some of you make zero sense with your suggestions. Base just sold for $25 refractor non numbered JUST sold end of March for $65….lets sell /99 for $50 just because no one bit right away lol

The SGC 9 ended up going for $245.50 on Apr 13 so that’s a pretty new/recent comp to use. I really don’t sell cards I would deem under a 9 so given it’s un-graded if you aren’t gonna wait until his next fight for a hopeful boost I’d say $125-150 is fair. If that’s low to you and it looks good try grading as it’s prob $350+ in PSA 10 if SGC 9 did that and the previous 10 did what it did
