Has anyone found that certain base cards are somewhat harder to pull from hobby ?

Yeah, I opened 1 hobby and all 4 or 5 of my chrome had the same issue.

Newbie here, yes i have opened 3 hobby boxes and still missing 2-3 base cards.

That PR was really short and idk the PR for the HN minis. It's somewhere on this forum.

I just sold a Michael Kopech for 17 bucks guessing could have gotten 20, which I was pretty surprised about.

I got mine yesterday, 1 blaster missing

No autos, relics, minis or anything special. 5 chrome /699, 2 silver /225, 3 white, 5 aqua, 15 green the best Yamamoto, 10 SPs. I did get a complete set.

All blasters are not bangers.

Yeah, they sent me three Pokemon boxes instead of blasters in one of my orders.

That sucks. I tried to take care of it online but I can't get pass the no returns on sports cards. I guess I'll have to do it over the phone.

Yeah, you’ll have to call them. I got the right agent, she refunded me and gave me a $15 gift card. I was very surprised.

I'd say most of the time they'll say we'll check on it for you and never hear back. I ordered 3 prizm football blasters and they sent me 2. Called them and I specifically told them to check the weight for 2 blasters compared to 3 on the shipping label. Had to file with my CC to get 35 back. Luckily this has only happened once.

It’s the only time I’ve ever had to call them, I assumed it was luck or a first time courtesy.

Mine arrived on Thursday but opened yesterday. I'm still 59 cards short of full base set. One box was 80 percent base dups.

Three #-699 chrome, three aqua, 8 greens. 1 white.
2 award winners, 1 quad, 1 retiree, 1 N&T, 1 FLF.
Zero autos or relics,
6 SP's. I didn't know they cut back the SP's to 1:4. I wonder if that's the new normal going forward?

I did not buy any hobby boxes. I'm confused by the stated odds on Beckett, though:

1975 Topps Originals
Stamped buybacks of original 1975 Topps Baseball cards.
1:79 hobby.

Oversized 1975 Topps Baseball Checklist
30 cards.
1:35 hobby.

Are those odds boxes or packs?
Are box toppers not guaranteed in each hobby box anymore? I thought the 2024 Heritage breakdown was pretty much an even split of oversized vs buybacks. Each box I opened had one or the other.

Also, did Topps dispense with fat packs, hangers, and 15-/17- pack mega boxes for '24 HHN?

They are pack odds, but you just convert to box odds for those.

So, Oversized would be about 1 every 1.5 boxes (36 packs) - more common than the Originals which are about 1 every 3.3 boxes (78 packs).

And yes, just Hobby and Blaster for HHN this year

Those of us who got the 10 hobbys boxes from topps. are these just cases with 2 boxes taken out? or random 10 boxes from different cases

I got my 10 in from Topps.

Even tough I think I did pretty well, I'm not sure I'd get my $$ back selling everything....Probably close ?

No big name minis....sold 3 of them already at $15 per - only 7 out of 10 boxes had them. Jazz was the best Black Refractor. Also have a Jazz B&W as the best of 2 B&W parallels.

4 out of 10 boxes had base relics....best was Freddie Freeman.

All 4 of my 1975 boxtopper buy backs were Jack Heideman, lol... Nice collation Topps....not
Best of the 6 Oversized were Holliday, Vlad and Alvarez

This looks very confusing to me, as well. Does anybody have any insight here? Here is an example of an /699 chrome card that was definitely released now in HHN and clearly seems to have a refractor finish. This was a low-number card, but there are some high-number cards that seem the same, like this one.

Compare those refractor cards to this other /699 card from HHN that has plenty of light hitting it and does NOT seem to be a refractor.

So what's the deal here? Can anybody shed some light on this (hah), or can anybody see a pattern as to which /699 cards refract and which don't? Thanks.
