I opened two boxes. Got a Goose Gossage red ink, and two gold chromes, Dominic Canzone and Tobias Myers. One was a hot box that had a Heston Kjerstad purple refractor. He was in regular Heritage I believe, so apparently hot boxes includes purples of the guys from low that got chromes in HHN?

Blasters only, unfortunately it looks like they've sold out on Target, Dicks, etc. They haven't come up on Walmart, so that's probably the next best shot.

I tried getting a few boxes through Topps this morning, but got the Shopify error like many others. Now I'm kinda glad I didn't after seeing some of this opened. Saved me from getting 5 scratched-up chromes of no-names, thanks to the 625 card chrome checklist.

Sure, there are more parallels and a few extra $10 autos per case, but definitely can't justify buying with the insane price hikes.

Hobby $220 @ my “Away” LCS (winter job). They received 2 cases and sold 2 boxes today. Easy pass. Blasters $35, tried one to see a few inserts.

Result: 2 inserts (Award Winner, 75 Team Quad), 2 SP, 2 green parallels, 1 aqua

Two packs had 8 Pitchers each. Gotta print lotsa Pitcher RCs in the use-em-up-&-kick-to-curb-era of MLB.

The 3 parallels had perfectly legible card backs. The rest of the cards had those stupid deliberately dark backs. Asinine.


Will probably check in with my regular Home LCS to see what price point they selected. For regulars it might be just their normal markup and they offered to hold one for me a month ago.

What are spot prices for a 501-725 set?

Oh and 1 of the 2 boxes ripped locally coughed up a ‘75 buyback - box loader style? Or from inside a pack? The owner showed it to me but I forgot to ask.

Wait a couple months and they'll be around $25 shipped.

Its the dreary thing about Heritage High. You get 2-3 501-725 sets and another 6-8 501-700 sets. So you see the same cards over and over, and make a bunch of sets that don't sell (though due to the rookie class, this one might)

Made the mistake of downloading the fanatics live app. Clown shows everywhere.
First stream I find is something called eastwestbreaks. Reminds me of Temu version of Platinum breaks. Accents and arguing and all.
Anyway all of the autos in the case they broke were Steve Garvey.
6 of them.
Not even sure what’s real anymore.

I got the same error message. I was gonna blow $100 on a box, but I'm kinda glad I didn't. Don't really understand the excitement over 5 chromes per box. Especially a checklist with all cards from low#

Dude, my thumb is bruised lol. It took me a long time to get through my case. Halfway through, I was thinking that case breakers are gonna hate this product lol.

I can not imagine doing a case of that. Even the plastic wrap on the outside of the box was harder to get into than it normally would be.

Seriously, why would Topps choose the photo that they did for the Skenes variation?! It's ridiculous IMHO. Merrill and Chourio not having image variations is a big fail! But, of course, if they did and had images like the Skenes, I probably would have a different opinion. The throwback subjects are terrible. Would like to have seen at least 1 of the bigger rookies be an SP. Why is this in such demand? If it wasn't for the slim chance of getting a ROA of the 3/4 bigger rookies, this product wouldn't be good. Sure they added content....of mostly undesirable chromes and parallels, making the chances of getting a chrome parallel of anyone good very slim (look at purple hotboxes opened on YT). They have basically polished a turd with a shiny chrome and parallel lacquer and everyone is falling all over themselves for it...I'm personally just not getting it, especially after seeing the breaks on YT. Are the minis what is creating most of the hype and desirability? Does Skenes truly have that much pull? What are we doing here?! Good Lord, where's the tylenol!

1) Because it's Heritage
2) Because it's the 1975 design
3) Because it has hot rookies
4) Because there's only been one other baseball product released YTD
5) Because a lot of people apparently have money to throw away

Real One Autos, specifically red ink autos. ROA are typically tough to hit but they are falling 1 every other box which is unheard of for heritage lol
Add a solid rookie class and SP minis for the collectors who enjoyed the heritage mini release, lower print run, and black/gold chromes easier to hit.
It's not a bad release for usual Heritage fans.

The lack of supply for everyone is probably the major downside.

The way Topps handled this release this morning really turned me off. $230 for a box of this everywhere else is the nastiest of business. Just gross.
