Well, it will be interesting to see what offseason moves happen. Hopefully they can come back strong and this loss will be a big motivator. It’s really hard to get as far as they have year after year. Were really clutch all year. Just ran into a buzzsaw today.

One doesn't correlate to the other. Mahomes is not a true pocket passer and his athleticism will age out.

And Kelce is closer to the end.

I remember there was talk last week about how losing this Super Bowl wouldn't have that much of an impact on Mahomes legacy.

I don't think those takes had accounted for this particular outcome.

Bottom line is still the same though:

There is one thing that can have more impact on an NFL game than the QB position, and that is an elite pass rush.

It's how the Giants beat the Patriots twice, and it's how the Chiefs lost both of their Super Bowls too.

Without a relentless pass rush, it doesn't happen.

This is the one and only kryptonite for elite QBs.

Oh, and PS:

Kansas City falls to 1-3 in the playoffs in their very next games after playing the Bills (aka all 3 of their playoff losses since 2020. Just saying.. Perhaps KC isn't just bad for the Bills; maybe we are just bad for each other!)

I agree with you. KC-BUF is a tough game for both teams. Eagles were just too good tonight.

His defense blew it for him in 2012.

While they only allowed 21 points the defense literally could not get off the field. Eli didn't make a single mistake all game and they dominated the time of possession. Brady only had the ball for like 1/3rd of the entire game.
