It would be astronomical without trading. Taking into account ePack trading, it lessens it, but still must be a ton.

I will say it’s neat to see the plates of these 92MMs even though mirrored. The original 92MM plates were never released to market, although I think 1 or 2 made it into collections. Needless to say we won’t be seeing real 92MM plates, so this is the next best thing. And since this was a chrome set with the mirror, it at least differentiates from the real deals.

Bought one pack and hit an Ultron Plexi.

At least the art on this one makes sense for a plexiglass card.

Will try to trade for Cat or Spidey I guess.

Yeah, that's been covered somewhere in the previous 15 pages.

There are already 26,886 cards showing in the e-Pack Marketplace after just over an hour.

Yeah. My one box was $250 but thankfully my LCS didn't hold me to my blaster case.

Here's the fun part, that represents less than 0.5% of the print run.

Just quick back of the envelope math, it would take over $50,000 to complete the VIP black achievements.

I've opened 6 packs in 2 pack lots at a time with my best two hits being a Captain America cover variant red prism /292 and an Invisible Woman cover variant seismic gold /92

These cards are beautiful. I would love to open more but my wallet is saying no.

Seems to be the theme of this set. Beautiful cards, outside some PMGs…but not great for resale value.

Are the Clear Cut tiered or should there be roughly the same number of each printed?

Should be same of each. Nothing tiered in this set to my knowledge

To your point, everyone on COMC knows what they have, but being so close to the physical means the race to the bottom based on rarity and parity isn't going to be as drastic. One other detail that may have been missed is that UD seemed to indicate this'll be available after the 2024 cutoff based on the updated messaging located here.

Not quite following why you think there won’t be a race to bottom. There no doubt will be once comc starts to be really flooded with this vast print run. If any set is susceptible to a comc race to the bottom, it would be this set. As mentioned only like 1% of the hobby print run has been opened yet, and most not transferred off ePack yet because the achievements and trading…but that’ll change.

Unnumbered especially gonna be cheap. But take Pink lasers which are /992. I have no idea what the break down between epack and physical is, but say it’s 50/50, that’s nearly 500 of each pink laser on ePack. I wonder how many pink lasers we’ll see in a comc bucket on average after a month or two….could it be like 100? That will be very cheap.

Oh! Sorry, was not meaning to be a criticism as we see it happen a lot with sets that have months of gap between physical and ePack. I totally agree with all your points.

If you've transferred any inventory like me (for now) I'm trying to price according to first day listings but I know it's admittedly higher than it'll likely be in the days and weeks to come. I also think the achievements will influence the final prices.

This release is also a weird one because I think a lot of people ASSumed it wasn’t going to make it to ePack in time. Some people likely ordered pretty heavily on the hobby side assuming that was going to be the only release and the product could potentially have been loaded because of the short release window. So far it doesn’t look like it has played out that way.

I'm not familiar with e-pack, can someone tell me why there was this big anticipation for it and why it seems to be preferred to physical hobby boxes?
