What if they took 45 minutes while sitting on the can? Asking for a friend.

Many say that your best thinking is done on the can. Could this translate to best work as well?

Are there any sites that still have cases at around the $1425 price?

I honestly hope Cryptozoic gets a deal done sooner than 5 years. Chevy is 81 and looks terrible health wise. All those years of drinking & hard partying are showing (and I believe he’s still a heavy drinker). Have you seen his latest pictures? He has a nasty black eye in which he “claims” he bumped his head in his hotel room rushing to a meeting. Also Beverly D’Angelo is 73 & Randy Quaid is 74. Time to get a licensing deal done now & not wait another 5 years for the 40th. Heck I’d be happy with a National Lampoon’s Vacation Wally World set.

Looks like my cases and boxes have shipped from DA. I’m interested to see the dual autograph checklist & serial numbering. Looking forward to see what you guys & gals pull in the coming weeks. “Fragilé…it must be Italian”

I'd love to see what that maneuver yields. Good luck.

I would have preferred if Christmas vacation got this type of mainstream release honestly, but nothing against Christmas Story, obviously a good classic too.

The auto/sketch was enough to draw me in. I’m in for 2 boxes.

I picked up 2 boxes for S & G's.. I actually saw this film in the theater when it originally released and loved it back then.

Hey there,

I work at Crypto and worked on this set. One of the cool things about it that hasn't really been announced yet is that we did subtle variants of the auto cards for each signer. The normal auto cards were signed with black ink, but there is a blue ink version numbered to 5 and a red ink version numbered to 1 for each auto card.

All blue and red ink versions also have inscriptions. You can see an example of this in the images attached.

Amazing. Thanks for coming on …. Can’t wait to open this

My main question for you would be

Is the print run around 5000 boxes ?

And talk about the sketch cards .. 5000 sketches ?

First few we have seen were really good ? That’s a massive undertaking getting that many sketch cards ..

I can't really talk to much about print runs and whatnot. But I can say that it is a MASSIVE undertaking to not only book that many sketch cards, but to also get that many sketch cards approved from the licensor. We book 10% over what we need due to sketch card rejections and artists that sometimes don't get things done on time. This set had a hard date to make it for the holidays, so there was a lot of extra work done on it to make sure it hit on time.

Thanks for all the kind and positive words you've shared so far. It was a great set to pull together.

There were some exceptional sketches done for the set. Here is a preview of some of them.

Wow some great sketch artist names. Great to see the Glebe brothers included. Those are “case hit” quality sketch cards! Just grabbed some more boxes.

Crazy DA listed more cases this morning with an increase and they’re all gone. I should have bought more cases at my 112/box rate.

That is crazy they are sold out again. Not seeing any boxes on ebay either.

Sketches look great. Who are the more popular artists?

I think the set kind of snuck up on a lot of people.

Also Dave adams is probably the main reseller of this product. I’m sure they have plenty of boxes left. But the price will go from 110 130 150 every time sell out

Sucks to pre order. But have to risk it. I won with this product. But I got screwed with marvel masterpieces platinum. If I knew more I would of never bought it at 293
