I heard it will be gone, so I had to try 1 more pack. Funny, this will go with my 2022 MM Sketch Electro. Good thing it is sold-out because I was going to hit a 1/1

Very nice! In under the wire. I'm happy with a couple of ok ones since I was never really planning on collecting this set. Might trade the sig Wolvie for a decent Platinum or something..Does anyone have a clue how many tier 4 gold sigs were made?

After 4 awful packs- best cards were Iron man holofoil and Cap/Skull Battle Spectra I went and bought my singles like I should have to begin with.

$25 got me:

Black Cat:

Base
Gold Foil
Variant Cover
Prelim Art
Purple /199

Using around 13,500 box number and tier 4 gold sigs were (I think?) around 1:72, that would be 250 gold sigs per tier 4 character.

Default 2023 Upper Deck Marvel Masterpieces - Dan dos Santos

Noticing a good frequency of offers are being accepted on this stuff. Assuming people are trying recoup what they can to make a dent in the large bills from buying wax.

Edit: talking about comc offers

I opened a box MM22 and got a gold foil of iceman that is missing the back (it is white on the back
and super thin too). Does anybody know if this is a common error in this product?

I don't think it's common, no.

This split card error has been reported in other sets such as Fleer Ultra Avengers or Wolverine. Apparently Upper Deck has been doing it in some of their thicker card sets. I haven’t seen that many in MM though.

If you followed my saga of getting the Thor Canvas original art painting, there is a follow-up video that we debuted yesterday on the Spidey Hits channel. It's worth a watch!

Nice that it all worked out correctly. You now have THE Marvel Masterpieces piece.

I had a dealing awhile back regarding some sports paintings and what they sent back to me (at my request and demand) far out ran the original item I purchased. So yes UD makes a myriad of mistakes.

Yea, I really felt like lightning struck twice there - I'm still astounded at how it all worked out. Just so incredibly lucky and grateful that it all worked out.

Here's a scan of the painting!

In person it glows just a tad bit more as the light hits the paint, especially the pink portions of his suit.

Saying that is amazing doesn't even begin to do justice. The character, the quality, the historical significance, this is truly a piece of fine art. I know it isn't all about the money, but what do people think this is worth? Whatever it is, it is only going up from this point.

It really is THE piece all things considered. The very last (for the foreseeable future) Masterpieces, a redemption painting, a portrait/gallery style piece of art, of SPIDER-MAN...

As far as worth, I've heard that people estimate the raw painting to be anywhere between $15-30k, largely based off its size and comparison vs. other DDS pieces. The base Spidey, which is a large painting, instantly sold for 50k on Patreon. The Canvas galleries are some of his smallest paintings, but it being Spidey really juices it up.

Of course, that's all inconsequential because the provenance and historical significance makes it invaluable to me!

Sorry late to this post, but I’m simply in awe, holy cow! Could be my fav painting in the whole set, and that’s saying something since there is so much to choose from. I like what Dan did with the concept for the regular Spider-Man base card, but this canvas is actually my favorite. The deep reds on this are SO nice.

Congrats exo, this is the pull of the product, a piece for the ages!
