There is usually one point in the last 3 innings of a 3 run game where the tying run gets to the plate let’s hope they get that opportunity.

Once one guy gets a hit you know it's over because there's no way they get another before a gidp or mulk ks

Warning track power we want the baseballs that were used in the Dodgers Padres game last night. Still 4-1 after 7 Royals. This could be the last game at Yankee Stadium this year.

I thought this team was different than the playoff teams of years past but it’s beginning to look quite familiar.

It's the same win a lot of games in reg season but not be set up for postseason. We aren't good defensively, the offense is really 2 guys and if they go cold they do nothing, there's no starter you trust beyond cole and he hasn't been good, we went pretty much the whole season with no closer. Snell and scott could have been huge difference makers, but nah let's waste another year.

Kahnle with a nice 8th. Judge, Wells and Stanton coming up in the 8th down 4-1. Realistically that will be their last real shot at doing anything. Not quite yet Kahnle walks the batter after being up 1-2 and now he has lost the plate.

Yes especially when Scott could’ve been a throw in in the Jazz move. Nobody is comfortable at the positions they are playing and they aren’t being put in the lineup properly. What has Berti done to deserve a playoff start over Cabrera .

Stanton doing what he does when he’s not striking out. Double play to short ends the inning.

Stanton has to be one of the slowest players of all time. It's like he doesn't know how to run.

Pathetic I really won’t be surprised if their season ends in Kansas City because Witt jr won’t keep playing this bad but I can see the Yankees offense staying in the funk they have been in for awhile.

Boone was explaining he can't start or stop abruptly smh. He has to "gear up" to get to his "top speed" lol

He's 34. Not 64, 34!

That’s something to be positive about but I just don’t see the offense breaking out and asking Schmidt to start game 3 is a crapshoot.

Always with the excuses. Why the hell is Boone wasting his bullpen after the 8th inning double play all hope was lost. You bring in Weaver for the last out and if he gives up anything his confidence is shot for next game.

And Witt jr no less. No point in not just going with the pitcher who started the 9th sorry I forgot who number 58 was. Witt jr pops out in foul territory to first so all is well.
