For people that did buy, the regret will only truly be felt when they rip open the packs and see they got dusted. Lol Though instead of some bum 30 year old relief pitcher, at least all your cards will be of Ohtani.

That and this doesn't even ship out until December. Prices could be fairly different by the time people actually get these in hand. Be prepared for cancellations if you sold or bought preorder on eBay.

Ohtani has a meh postseason and the Dodgers flame out early, I can these boxes staying in the $300-350 zone. But if Ohtani goes off and lead the Dodgers to a WS, the hype will be incredible and I legit wouldn't be shocked to see this go for double or even triple retail price.

Yeah, you never know. The crazy 1/1s will give it a solid floor along with the autos, but with them not shipping until well after the postseason, the hype will be a lot lower regardless of what happens.

My view is the market is behaving like it, I don't see the product being anywhere near as good.

This one is really risky for pre-sellers with 40 days + eBay label good for 28 days plus eBay's new cancellation policy (gets you to mid-December). A lot of time between now and shipment.

It is challenging. 40-days is maximum pre-sale timeline. Buyers can now cancel up until the item is shipped (label printed).

If you print labels off at that point, then you have 28 days that the label is still good.

68-days from now is December 14th.

People can let the 40-day presale window pass and ship "late", but if they did any sort of volume it will hurt the Top Seller rating and increase fees.

Yeah I wouldn't list now....but if the Dodgers make the World Series that may make the window small enough and demand high enough that I would be listing.

Mid-November is a timeframe would I would have some comfort in pre-selling if I do indeed decide to sell any.

I got my Topps now order
In today. I got two lots of five and when I saw a sealed pack I got excited.

I believe the curtain call is a SSP.
