Here's pics of the sealed boxes I have.

Anyone else have sealed product?

It’s way up there for sure. One thing I’ve learned in HP artbox is never underestimate anything very low numbered, particularly /50 or less….and this is /6, sheeeesh.

But yea when a triple is selling for $25k-$35k, just can’t see it (although it’s much more rare than the triple, hard to compare with a triple). Seller is asking the moon.

Those boxes are niceeeee! Particularly the sorcerer’s stone sealed box- quite the collectors item.

This is all I have left of the details (from the item sold email Ebay sent me) and no photo, unfortunately.
"HARRY POTTER Comic Con 2010 COSTUME CLAW CARD 7 Made
Sale price:$860.00
Quantity sold:1
Sale date:Aug-02-10 19:41:05 PDT"

(And, yes, I would've been more specific in the title line, but Ebay allowed far less characters for that back then.)
I wonder what one of those would sell for now with the continuing interest in the line.

I think I found the Krum costume card you’re talking about jdandns, #/7

https://ebay.com/itm/204976832597

How’s that for a relic card lol. Not idea what that is, maybe the coat fastener you see in the pic I guess.

Maybe you don’t want to see the price though. I will say anything HP artbox /7 or less will be off the charts now. If it makes you feel better that asking price is the moon, and I feel like these are museum type listings coming out of Australia (along with some other mega-high end HP patch cards). Doubting anyone would pay near that, but in reality this card could be quite valuable. (can we even call this a card?). Probably at least $10k just guessing.

Default Harry Potter Artbox Autographs

Opening HP boxes is a huge losing value proposition….just my two cents. Autos were hard to hit, not likely to be one in a box, and even if you somehow hit one it’ll be a common auto probably. The PUA doesnt have autos and the the Sorcerer’s Stone would be one of the worst to open since there are no big 3 autos and that sealed box being the first is especially collectible.

They are quite collectible as boxes, that’s for sure.

I didn’t realize autos were so tough to pull. That certainly helps explain some of the high prices. I wonder how many sealed cases of HP still exist.

I was fortunate enough to open several boxes throughout the release years of these products.
They were incredibly fun to open when they were $100ish per box.
At current prices, it just doesn't make sense to open them.
The only one that's a little tempting is the POA Update because it could contain the holy grail Ron/Harry/Hermione triple auto.

I understand it’s the Draco Dormiens start of the Hogwarts motto, but I can’t find this anywhere on the letter. They really zoom up on the letter on both sides in the film when Uncle Vernon is holding it and the motto is on the back under the Hogwarts logo but is encased in a ribbon and is not evenly written in a line, so is not what’s on this relic. So my question is- what am I looking at here?

Is it just one of many duplicates props which may or may not have been given screen time (the actual section of the letter not given any screen time as far as I know). I’m trying to understand these HP prop cards more- not questioning the actual card at all, I’m sure it’s a regular artbox HP relic card.

Yea I want this card, but not this specific one cuz I thought the same thing. Someone sell me one!! lol or a prop wand card

If I’m not mistaken, there aren’t autos in that PUA version box (someone correct me if I’m wrong). The ones with possible autos also say look for autographs in the yellow box thingy, like this box,

https://ebay.com/itm/284879370276

So it may at least prevent any temptation to open it. The auto-boxes definitely go for the highest prices. But no question it is still a highly collectible sealed box either way. You are smart to keep them all sealed.

Alas, you are correct.

I'll need to add the Autograph version box to my collection at some point.

There's a few other sealed boxes I'm looking at.
Ideally I'll have a full run at some point.

RIP Maggie Smith.

We’re losing all our older friends from Hogwarts.

So many gone….RIP to a legend.

One of the best castings of the whole series, she was perfect in the role. Will be missed.

We watched #1 as a family a few weeks back. That first scene w Harry as a baby, Hagrid, Dumbledore and mcgonnagul all there. I thought, it’s crazy that only she was left.

All of our older friends from Hogwarts are gone.

Crazy thinking about that first scene I agree.

While we still have some adult actors around the list has become way too short.

Mcgonagall will always be Maggie Smith for me, she was perfect in playing that stern, yet friendly and caring role…the cornerstone of Hogwarts.

Looking for Andre Dawson Serial numbered cards that are his jersey number - either #8 or #10. So looking for cards like 8/8 or 08/99 or 10/250.

Anyone have a guess across all the artbox series combined how many autos of the bigger characters exist?
