This is unlicensed (captain obvious) nd some designs are better than others in the various subsets. However I feel “value” relative to price is better than most if not all licensed panini. Cases (delight and hobby alike) average 4 or 5 top QB RC autos per. That’s not shabby

I have checked ebay a few times to day to see the Composite autos hitting there.
My god there are SO MANY autos of the 4 rookies hitting ebay right away!!
There is going to be a flood of them with there only being the 4 rookies!
side note... Richardson's auto is hilariously small.

Then we need to start calling Leaf and Panini baseball products “not fully licensed” as well since they also are licensed by the players and/or the MLBPA but not the leagues.

In other words, these cards are identical to Leaf or Panini baseball from a licensing standpoint.

Usually pretty quick but if you dont hit they wont notify you

Sorry, I've seen enough of this stuff and I don't get the appeal. Although Brady autos are in this, Leaf Metal Draft 2016 showed that a good looking unlicensed authentic on-card auto of Brady in an air-brushed uniform is possible.

8 years later and I'd rather have one of these.

Neat to see they went with 2003 Topps as a throwback too. I saw on the checklist there was 1973 Topps Football. Weird (not in a bad way) of seeing him in a Cardinals jersey when the original was the Rams for that year.

Long day at work, just checked my personal email and it looks like I was selected for the Fanatics drop! I only selected 2 boxes though.

Not sure if I will open or throw them in the closest with the sealed collection.

I'm chasing over 18,000 different Vikings cards/stickers and have the vast majority. I will not be going after this set.

I really wish Topps would have held off making NFL cards until they could put the logos on the cards.

When I was 7, I didn't know any better.

These cards are near worthless - same for Leaf cards of today or Panini baseball.

I'm glad they are all ex-players.

What I bolded is my biggest issue. You are just wasting your designs and flooding the market with an already flooded market of unlicensed product. If they waited a year and released this 03 design with logos it would have pushed their way into all collectors hearts. Now it just looks like a desperate cash grab...especially with Hobby, Breakers delight, Retail blasters, and mega boxes. Just cheapens the image and adds to the maddness.

My one box today arrived.



Like all sports boxes these days with a few big player hits and a lot of nothing, its going to be hard to get 'return value' out of a box without getting any big cards from the rookies or Brady. But I think the cards are designed as well as they can be without the license, and the "player worn" swatch on the Gore is really nice (it is /20 so I guess got the better piece). I don't even know the value of unlicensed vet cards except to know its "not high," but since I paid retail price for this box I won't complain.

I actually got two boxes but sold the other as a pre-order. Because I very rarely sell boxes I didn't even think to weigh them, I just opened the first box on top. But I weighed them afterwards out of curiosity and the box I opened did weigh noticeably more due to the patch. So just a warning for those buying single boxes off eBay, of course the "normal" weight box can still have a big auto in it but if they weigh them and care it may be sorted to not sell boxes with jersey autos.

Those are all solid vet autos, Id much rather have them than the rando 7th round draft pick OL that floods the Panini licensed releases. Those 3 are all HOFers, right? Or close to it anyway.

The box that I assume doesn't have a patch/jersey card is 11.71 oz. The other is dissembled/sorted so I can't re-test it but it was over 12, something like 12.2 oz. Not a huge difference in the grand scheme of things but enough that I think if someone cared enough they could sort them.
