Japans market making a big bounce back. Robinhood overnight trading suspended. Schwab would let us do crap all day. Lame

Nice market bounce back today. My balances are back to June 5, 2024 levels… is only a 2 month setback so far. And it’s not like I was struggling in June either. A healthy correction that hopefully can be kept in check.

Dutch Hoes took a dump. Can't say I'm sad about that.

Finally something. Long overdue. Should have been immediately after the Cramer interview.

I am buying CMG today. Congrats to SBUX holders. I am holding off buying SBUX until some sort of value is reintroduced to the customer. Olive oil lattes ain't it.

Another great day in the market. My trading account is back where it was before the steep drop a couple weeks ago. NVDA up over 15% since I added on the dip.

WMT ripping. Financial pundits are trying to paint a rosy picture of the economy based on Wal-Mart earnings. Wal-Mart absorbing a larger pool of consumers is not the bullish signal they think it is. Yeah it’s great for Wal-Mart, but it doesn’t paint a good outlook for the consumer.

I think the post-COVID economy is basically very polarized. If you have a job, own a house and own stocks you are doing great. If not, you are struggling. I had a plumber into the house a week or so ago and he said his calls are down sharply in the last few months. People have to choose between a new water heater or groceries.

This is absolutely true. Eventually, those doing well will taper their spending. How long can the top-end consumer prop this up?

I saw Brian Gray pumping monkeypox vaccine stocks, that’s all I need to see to stay away.

Covid policies drove a permanent divide between the haves and the have nots. Good luck getting ahead in the future if you aren’t already ahead.

If you’re well off and have no change in your employment, the only reason to slow spending is to buy more discounted assets.

Maybe he’s a crappy plumber. Every tradesmen I know have more work than they know what to do with.

Not really. He said it went from him getting more calls than he could return in a day. Where people were saying they’d pay him whatever he wanted if they could jump to the head of the line to it slowing down. Not all areas of the country are booming.

Looking at the new 52wk high list and found ASTS. No idea what this is, but the stock was $1.97 in April and is now $31.36

I keep getting wallstreetbet posts popping up on my Reddit feed about people becoming millionaires off this stock.

Never heard of it, but apparently “everyone” was in it.

Just checked on ASTS and looks like space stocks are having a moment. RKLB also doing well lately.

I was in Planet Labs (PL) for awhile but lost money on it. It does seem like a cool company though. If you get HBO streaming check out the documentary Wild Wild Space… https://www.imdb.com/title/tt32258850/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1

God bless this market. Now let’s see if we get a double top or rip higher.
