Default If you have not purchased tickets yet - DONT GO

If you are planning on going to the NSCC on Saturday and or Sunday and have not purchased a ticket, I suggest not going.

I worked for an organization that puts on trade shows for many years. Organized and or helped put on 100s of conventions both larger and smaller than this one. In my opinion this is by far the most disorganized trade show / venue I have attended. Many people have posted about the details (traffic management, parking, concessions, and more) so no need to cover that part of it. Do not waste your time and money if you have not purchased admission yet. Stay home and go to next years show.

Went today and had zero issues aside from the lack of bathrooms, came in from the west and spent two minutes getting to a free parking spot. Smoother than Chicago ever was, just needed more bathrooms, that was a bit crazy.

Ummm…yeah, if this was a bad experience then you might just want to skip next years as well…

How on earth did they picked a venue with:

No public transportation
No hotels within walking distance or close at all
Very few shuttles to any hotels
No restaurants close

We have had much better experiences in years past. Glad you had a good time - and yes come in and out of the West Side to save some time.

It's cheap, it's big, it's right next to the airport, and dealers in the past have liked it. This might be the last show in Cleveland but the dealers are the ones with the voices and if they're happy, I'm sure Cleveland will be added again in the next few years.

That is a good point. The dealers are the main customers for the organizers and if they are happy, then it will come back here.

I'm not 'team doom' but, on the other hand, you shouldn't have to guess as to whether or not you're going to need to leave 3 to 4 hours early to be able to navigate parking and entry.

VIP needs, at least, 1 hour early entry, not this 30 minutes of which 15 can easily be wasted just waiting to get on the escalator to enter the floor.

They should have been funneling all the entry traffic through the multiple gates and had shuttles running to the east side, constantly, as an option for those who may not want to walk around. Maybe? I don't know.

The show itself was good. Saw plenty of awesome cards, some really cool stuff at the auction house corporate booths (as always) and was able to quickly check off what I planned and wanted to.

I hit up the Wed. night preview and the first half of Thursday. Got around the show floor, twice and, seeing how it was going by mid day on Thursday, I bailed. Had planned on attending today but decided on just taking off a day early since I managed to get done everything that I wanted to. Not knowing what level of chaos it may or may not be absolutely played a part in that decision.

Basically, I'm kind of indifferent to it because I sort of expected it and planned (guessed) correctly on things that allowed me to miss a lot of what the vast majority got stuck in. The show, itself, was great. They've definitely got to figure out the logistics for attendance of this level, though.

It was "smooth" for the people that arrived hours early through the east gate and the people who mapped out back/side roads and knew about the west entrance. The other 97% fall into 'it was terrible'.

Going in, I was thinking this was probably it for Cleveland. After seeing the sales at some of these tables, I'm thinking they'll want to be back here again for sure.

I went today and arrived around 9:00 in the West Lot with zero traffic and parked right away. I hung out in the car with some coffee and conversation for 30 mins or so. I hit up a porta potty on the walk up to the General Admission line. I got in line outside around 9:45 and it started moving a couple minutes later. Once inside, I got in line for the wrist band and made it onto the showroom at 10:01.

No problems here.

I've spent the last 2 days at the show. It has been a wonderful experience. Don't listen to the downers who focus on the negative.

My hotel is 4 miles away. How many hotels do you expect to be walking distance when it’s at an “airport” venue

There are plenty of restaurants close. Maybe you’re too fancy for them though

You sound like a very mean old man

And I’m as cynical as they come

Good to hear

People that complain always complain the loudest. The other people just are happy and don’t worry about it

If you have gone more than one day and are still having parking issues, that's on you. I arrived Wednesday at 3:30. The traffic was a nightmare. I found a better way (approach from the west and use the best gate) by taking 5 minutes Wednesday night on google maps. The next two days were a breeze. If you fight that traffic more than once I don't know what to tell you.

My son had a blast today…

B&B sports cards
Browns/Cavs/Tribe team shops
Harry Buffalo lunch
Cleveland Aquarium (amazing)
Two local CLE shirt shops
Melt Bar and Grilled for dinner

I wish we had time for the RR, Canton, and the Great Lakes Science Center

Let alone the parks, zoo, and the beach
