Yep thus the disclaimer. I am getting sick and tired of having to worry about what words I use because of fragile minds. What was normal talk in the 1970’s and not found offensive by most makes certain people unstable.

On a side note, who are these triangle smashers anyway? What's that all about? Personally, I have nobody on ignore, and in all my time on Blowout I think I only hit the triangle once, because some brand new account posted porn.

I'd imagine the mods rolling their eyes at most of the smashes. "Mom. Mom. MOM!! You're not going to believe what little Timmy just did!"

I tried the ignore thing way back when, for a member who has since been banned. I found that it was more irritating to see responses to his nonsense without having seen the nonsense than it was to just read the nonsense in the first place. His time on my ignore list was short-lived and I don't think I've used it since.

I'm not sure what double standard you mean, but I'm sympathetic to what I think you're saying. A lot of people need to lighten up. It's like some folks are looking for a reason to feign offense.

If it were another person taking offense to the way I used the word last night I probably would’ve apologized and went on my merry way, but when said member has posts more controversial than anything I have ever posted that’s where I draw the line.
