Hey guys, I sold a card $350 value. I mailed it with no damage, listed with photos that show no damage. The card passes authentication. I arrived with damage to the top corner. Only way it was damaged was by Ebay authenticator. I accepted the return as the buyer obliviously didn't do it, it's still sealed. Do I have any recourse with Ebay and if so, who do I contact and how. Thanks guys

If it clears authentication, you are no longer liable in any way. Ebay should refund the buyer.

In your listing....do you state you do or do not accept returns?

Sorry, I don't understand....in the actual eBay listing....does it say you accept returns? If you accept returns, you accept returns....you can still try to hit up eBay for the damage. If your listing says that you do not accept returns, you should not have accepted this return....the problem would be between the buyer and eBay at that point.....eBay would refund and your funds would not be touched.

No clue.....but I would guess that if you get the right eBay rep and can provide proof of damage after it cleared authentication, it's possible they would give you a one time credit as a courtesy....could be a struggle and take multiple calls.

How do you know the buyer didn’t damage it?

Good luck. Unfortunately you gave eBay an out. I hope you get the one customer service agent that is helpful.

First, this should be between buyer and ebay as mentioned.
What is the status of the timeline here, did the buyer already ship it back? Did you get it back or not? It should be going back through ebay AG for the return, and the discrepancy between the card now vs what it was when they authenticated it might come up, in doing so. Pics of the damage? Also why is the value being stated as 350 when 130pt shows this card sold for 250?
