One of the biggest draws of baseball sapph are the on-card autos.

I'd at least expect that as a flagship-level premium addition to these considering the astronomical price hike.

As it sits, you're simply paying a near 4x premium per card for a fancy cracked ice finish. Which is cool...but not 4x cool.

I can't believe I missed this... I also can't believe it was still available. Ordered a case for me and another for my renegade case-breaking dad. With any luck this will be here when he's at our house for Christmas. Fun will ensue, regardless.

Had a similar reaction - couldn't believe I missed it. Then was a little surprised it was still available, but it makes sense. The $150 price point is too high, but it also allowed the product to stay available and not sell out immediately.

I decided to get 2 cases. I love sapphire and BUC too much to not get some.

Congrats on this awesome pull. These forums (baseball way more though) crack me up. Many poo poo every new release. Then the hits come. I bought 2 boxes purely because I love the sapphire product and missed (full day meeting) the update sapphire release in baseball. Hoping for a Harrison jr or McCarthy auto

You should check out the BUC threads from this year and last year. Total love fest. The only reason BUC Sapphire football wasn't getting the same love is because of the crazy value we saw in the regular chrome version.

This compared to Panini college is still a clear win and beats a number of their pro products too.

Agreed - "used to be" limited and auto's have always been tough, but now the base rookies don't hold the value they used to. Some really tough boxes, but what a beautiful product with some huge potential. If the community comes around on Bowman it'll be a ton of fun for football collecting.
