i'm a Spurs fan...i'll keep buying up cards of my boy Keldon Johnson, but i'm excited about Wemby.

we all called it two years ago, that we were tanking for Wemby, never thought it would happen, but here it is.

he said he would only sign for true fans

a lot of the stuff he signed in NY over the week is already listed up on eBay

Ok, what is there to actually discuss about him right now, as far as his on-court achievements go? Is his projected rookie-year EPM/BPM/VORP/RAPTOR high enough that I might care if it became actual? How much mental time/energy is advisable for fanz to expend on W's game/prospects at this time? I've barely given him any thought/attention so far (my username is GOATcards)

Supposedly he has GOAT potential if enough goes right. In terms of current proximity to GOAT status among active players, I've been more enamored of this one Serbian guy. It's more like a bird in the hand? (There's this guy that just broke the career scoring record who's pretty good too. Among non-actives there's this guy nicknamed the Big Fundamental who seems almost insanely undervalued in the hobby, which seems to attract my interest more as a buyer than the latest #1 draft pick....)

Years from now....being on page 1 may be fun to revisit.

For what's it's worth the current pop count of #1053 S.I. for Kids shows the highest grade card from PSA as a 9 with a pop count of 1.

I happily own the entire pop count of 9(MC) of 3 and the entire pop count of 8(MC) of 4.

These will all be hitting ebay shortly thanks to pcsportscards.

Happy to sell them all, but thought about holding onto one of the 9's long term.

I feel bad for the kid, so much expectation and hype has been put on him to make money for others.. Truly he is a unicorn, but can his body stand up to it. I saw his feet and cringed at the 1000 things that could go wrong... praying he lives up to his hype, but i won't be investing heavily out of the gate.. i will focus on Scoot to some extent, i believe he has what it takes....

His on-court achievements are no different from every other teenage prospect that has come into the league over the last 30 years; basically irrelevant.

Unlike Khal, I wish him well.
