I DVRd the game with an extra 3 hours to cover any OT. Unfortunately ran out of time before the game ended and never got to see the final result. Was a similar feeling to high school blue balls.

Hopefully Bobrovsky is too tired to start on Saturday! I can't imagine playing over 2hrs in sweaty hockey goalie gear although compared to when I was a kid it probably doesn't get quite as heavy

Has to be demoralizing to lose a game like that after expending over 2 games worth of energy.

Did they shut the beer sales early? Or does it matter after the pre-game fueling Tailgate-O-Rama? Would have been a lot of sleepy red necks by game's end.

I lived in south Florida when the Panthers went to the cup in the 90s. This team reminds me a lot of them. A bunch of good/very goods playing two way hockey in front of a hot goalie. Vanbobrovsky.

Beer sales kept going. They only shut the hot food down. You could still get peanuts, pretzels, nachos, etc.

vegas vs florida.... man. If you gave me their rosters at the start of the year, Matt Tkachuk would be the only guy I would know off the top of my head.

Vegas vs. Florida has the potential to be the olive on top of the shark sandwich for the Bruins, if Florida steamrolls through its two east opponents only to get stymied by Bruce Cassidy.

I didn't want to mix sports but things are playing out so similar lol all series are shutouts thus far, unexpected results, disappointing (in many minds) current finals outlook (Nuggets Vs Heat, Knights Vs Panthers) and even Florida in both situations lol

After running through the record-breakers and Toronto I expected Florida but I'll admit I was leaning Stars in the other series.

I think Florida and Vegas are the grittier teams and it would be a fitting Cup final. That said, it's not a foregone conclusion. If Car or Dal win game 3, those series become as tight as can be after 3 games (2-1), and as we've seen so far with Florida and Boston, it's not over til you win that 4th game.
