There's a chrome super for sale with raw pictures that states its a psa 9. Seams like a fair price actually, not far off.

But wouldn't that get rejected by authentication? Do sellers ever do this on purpose to be able to work with the buyer off ebay or something?

That Stadium Club one? I would think the bigger issue is that even setting aside raw vs. PSA, it isn't even the card they're describing (i.e. it's the base super, not the 1991 variation super). They appear to have just copied the details from the listing for the 1991 super, which IS in a PSA 9 slab. But hey, they added "true" in front of "1/1" just so we'd know it was legit.

It would likely get shipped to PSA for auth check and fail cause its not graded. He should know better than to copy that much of an existing listing.

That raw Super is Coach’s card. Coach would never intentionally mislead another collector. He’s a Stand up guy. I’m sure he’ll correct it. I’ve clicked on similar cards on ebay and clicked the “sell one like this“ button to make things easier. I bet this is prolly what happened?. I’m sure he’ll adjust it once it’s brought to his attention. Great card none the less!

That’s exactly what happened, TJ. I swear I clicked on the “not this one” or “not a match” button when eBay suggested copying the PSA 9’s listing. Can’t believe I missed the graded info in the title when I added “True” though (don’t want the Panini crowd thinking this is a 5/5 Gold Vinyl!).

I don’t move Juan of Juans unless it’s for too much money… or unless it’s for another big Juan (that is hopefully arriving later today). Looking forward to sharing that one when I can have a proper photoshoot for it.

So, if anyone would like to keep the TSC Superpooper in the Juan family, hit me up here or on IG/Twitter in my DM’s!

Cool. Honest mistake! It was a new posting so im sure you would have figured it out quickly. I should have just messaged you on ebay. Lately when I have been messaging sellers who have big posting mistakes on authenticated cards it hasn't gone well. And I thought I'm saving them the sale.

Still might want to add "Stadium Club" to the description/title, IMO. That is correctly listed in the details so you MIGHT be ok, but I could totally see the Authenticity Guarantee people kicking it back for just saying "Topps Chrome" elsewhere.

Like everyone here, I am a big Soto fan. I have learned from many of you about trends in the hobby. First post and would like to contribute.

Saw someone in the 2022 Sapphire thread have a rainbow of Brendan Donovan sans the 1/1. Thought that was pretty cool. Did the same with Juan. I know it is a checklist card but thought it would be the most attainable of a milestone and action image. Brought me joy just to collect from my childhood days and not think about the money.

Now that’s a cool looking rainbow! I enjoy the achievement portrayed on the card. I like to collect stuff that amplifies a players success and achievements. Glad to see ya here and hope to see more photos of Soto from you in the future!

Looks like a museum!

I was thinking about chasing that rainbow in paper Update, but I couldn't reach an agreement on the 1/1 platinum when it popped up and someone else snagged it for slightly more than I was willing to pay. I like that card, though. He's getting old now with these career milestones showing up on cards.
