They made a crap ton of it this year. Chrome hobby down to as low as $60 on ebay last I checked.

So weeks later no resolution on the missing autos on my curated X Chet Holmgren sets. 12 boxes no auto's and missing parallels. Odds stated 1 auto approximately in every 4 boxes.

Emailed and followed up and they closed the case no resolution. Called today and spoke to Jim. Said its just bad luck I didn't get an auto in 12 boxes and couldn't do anything. Wouldn't transfer me to a Manager. He said there weren't any and the one didn't have a voicemail. Then hung up on me. Great service.

I have so many outstanding redemptions and damaged cards from almost a year ago and never bug them or complain. I'm not a big fish but have easily spent over $100K the last 4-5 years for me and my 2 kids...

That is some BS. Maybe you miss out if you only order 4 but there is no way you should go 0-12. They took forever to ship so they had time to get it right. They need to stop offering odds if they aren’t going to back it up. Nobody would have bought that without auto odds. Charge back?

The odds of not getting an auto from 12 boxes is roughly 3.17%.

Thanks, I was trying to figure that out. Guess it possible but has never happened to me on anything. Plus I received 3 cards that said they were auto's on the back but no auto on front. This is a mistake Topps admitted to. (see below) Amazing.

That sounds like a “oops he was supposed to sign those but didn’t and no we’re not going to do anything for you.” I can understand being upset about that.

Gotcha and good luck. Reading your question as "Still no FF?" didn't have me realize it was about not getting emails The last few MC launches didn't have a pre-email (aka day before) and had gravitated to the first email being "It's now available". So, without knowing if those dates being shared are for public release versus MC release who knows. I'm only calling out that the "guesses" in this thread, at least for me, have always lined up closely to what cj828282 typically posts.

I bought a 2020 F1 Sapphire box and they never shipped it (I have proof) I caught it late because I bought every Montgomery Club offering and stashed in a box. My son was also opening and stashing them away for me and I didn't pay too close attention and trusted Topps which was my fault. However I emailed Topps 4 months after release and a couple more times after that and customer service just says they will forward to a manager and get back to me and never do. Anything else I can do?

I was getting screenshots from a Twitter account. I just DM the account and was told that the schedules are coming direct from Topps. It has only been recently that the online exclusives have been listed and it may be that Topps is having challenges releasing those on the expected dates.

On a side note, I have noticed that Topps has been releasing a product checklist a few days before release. That happened with SW Sapphire. There has not been a checklist for FF yet which make me suspect it will not be released this week.

If you're within the time limit for the card you used, you should file a chargeback now. Waiting will just run out the clock. I know some say Topps will ban people for this. First, refusing to ship is a no brainer for a chargeback. Secondly, if Topps ships or refunds you after your bank refunds you, ask Topps accounts receivable to charge you again. You can submit a BBB complaint if you can no longer file a chargeback.

We will see tomorrow, but the checklist release seems to be the biggest indicator of a release these days.

(I should have bought more Platinum at the National Ches, I love the set!)

I think they were running a little late on FF last year as well. I ordered one on 9/8 last year, but I think it was supposed to be an of August drop then as well.


Our September drops last year that I have were:

FF 9/8
Ginter X 9/15
Archive Snap Shot 9/21
MLS Sapphire 9/28

There was also the Bowman Chrome drop in there, but I cannot remember if they did early access for us. Also end of August we were given Topps Chrome Lite early access.
