Time to send Kukuchi down. He is lost. And time to trade for a starter, maybe two. It’s now or this season might not be salvageable.

Happy note: Ricky Tiedemann hits -#65 on top 100 prospects. Frick, fast track him like Manoah. Kid is the real deal.

I think the jays are in an interesting spot. They look like they are taking it easy (or. All smiles in the clubhouse/dugout) almost as if they know they are going to make the playoffs and compete. But then you see them just be so mediocre on field.

So not sure what to think of it but firing Montoya isn’t solving this problem. You bring a hard azz manager into the clubhouse and the vibe just dies. Good luck motivating those kids who only know how to have fun playing basebol.

Firing Montoyo won't solve the problems.

The challenge here is upgrades (trades) are going to come with a big cost attached since teams know they are desperate. It's one thing to negotiate from a position of strength (winning) and its another to try and do it from weakness.

But having fun isn’t working. I personally think Schneider should take over. Tired of Montoyo and like to see Schneider who coached many of these guys in the minors.

Offense has way underperformed. Pitching is nonexistent.

Fire Montoyo you gotta fire the GM as well since he put the team together.

He lost the room. Plain and simple. He refused to adjust the lineup according to its strengths and has handled the staff like it’s amateur hour. Pitching is why it is and is still somewhat fixable.

This move was the first of many and thank GOD a they didn’t wait until the end of the year to fix it. This tells me they’re looking to right the ship NOW. John Schneider was named the interim manager and he’ll be miles better than Montoyo.

Looks like Schneider is interim manager which is awesome. He’s been with many of the guys in the minors. I like this.

Schneider wins his first game as interim manager. I liked the aggressiveness on the base pads. Hopefully the teams plays better and the little things start to make a difference.
