Yea, believe

Old labels. The CSG stuff is in storage somewhere. I know you will not believe this, i actually made a one day trip by plane to pick up a PSA submission. Few Hundred slabs, some 1 pop and and did not want to take the risk of the subs being lost in mail.

i agree, but people that were not around collecting in the 80's early 90's just have no clue how massively over produced this stuff was.

back in 90 (before anyone knew of the huge scale up in basketball run's(i bought 2 cases of 90-91 Fleer jumbo's 8 box cases i want to say at $200 a case but i might be off a little as it's been so long),i still have 4 of the original 16 boxes,i sent off a case to BBCE to get wrapped, sold 4 at $525 each last year during the craziness.I jokingly still tell people i think Fleer is still printing it there is so much of it.

All I can say is I love the turnaround times they are producing right now. I also think the new labels are very nice upgrade over the old labels. One of my favorite cards I just got back from my last sub.

That slab is made for that card. A color match slab!

I noticed San Antonio Spur cards look awesome in their slabs as well from like a color match like perspective.

I bet Pittsburgh Steelers look great too.

dont care what they look like and if colors match. The green in my bank account looks better with a ugly red label and font.

Sounds like a HGA crowd here now.

I guess my outdated green slabs are worth more if it is the celtics and packers . Lucky me..

The green labels were a detraction initially for CSG so the fact that the new labels look good in general and look great with certain sets will hopefully boost up that green in your pocket (that is, if you'd get them reholdered).

I still haven't seen any photos of your sports cards in CSC slabs - could you post them here?

Did anyone mention value? They just mentioned how they look. Some collectors are not all about the "green" as you say. Let people hobby how they want. TSonn and I would love to see your unwanted CSG green slabs......maybe you can make some "green" if you post them?

I'm mostly poking fun because grade has been conflating CSC and CSG and knocking CSG for the mistakes of CSC.

Now i have 1000 dated csg/cgc slabs after only one year. wtf?
There's no way grade owns any CSG slabs that he could've graded at PSA for $9 per since PSA has been more than $50/card since CSG opened OR his cards would still be sitting at PSA had he sent UM since CSG has been open.

Seems to be a sticking point for him despite it not being a reality.

When CSG is more readily available for sell in their new label, the green in everyone’s pocket will increase. CSG, after 1 year as a sportscard arm, made a huge change that will change how their slabs are received. By The National, CSG slabs will be in many more cases and their prices will be up significantly. Currently CSG IS receiving more of my cards. Economy at $20 with less than 1 month turn around beats $50 per with over one month turn around which is going to become longer.

See some outdate slabs in the corner.
Just because you have 10 slabs, does not mean others have only 10 slabs.

That doesn't prove anything. Any CSG slab was purchased at a time when there was no PSA service available for less than $50 that you'd have the cards back to sell right now like you were complaining about.

You'd need to show a sports card in a CSC slab or a CSG submission # with a received date prior to 2021.

These are just the 9s that I'm considering getting reholdered. I sent in over 200 cards myself between March 2021 and August 2021. You're the one doing a bit of revisionist history (boo hoo I could've sent my cards to PSA for only a dollar more and sell them now for 10s of thousands of dollars more).

Dont think you understand. CGC announced they are going to grade sports cards in 2020 (oct/nov). PSA still had $9 bulk at that time. CGC kept announcing the grading of sports cards ever month to CGC Users. Many cgc users held sports cards and was waiting for CGC to grade sports cards. They kept on delaying like they delayed the CGC Registry to almost a year. By the time CGC/CSG actually graded sports cards, PSA closed bulk submissions. CGC let down the early users again.

Dont hate CSG/CGC , but they let down users so many times in one year it is ridiculous. I may use CGC/CSG in the future, there grading is ok, slabs ok, but who knows when they are going to change labels ,pink, purple, rainbow and grading standards to difficult in the future.

best wait it out for 1 year of no changes and under $10 bulk. Might be worth the lower end cards.

You are a sports cards only user, you have no clue one what happened before 2021.

* Nice cards , but why would you send those to CSG ?

at what point does a pop 1 or low pop have a premium? Looking at the pop reports, there is so little data right now.

who cares I would never make any full value on one grading companies pop count a lone.

I check at the least , PSA/BGS/SGC/CSG to know a pop count

if there ends up being any correlation with CGC comics compared to CSG then ironically enough your green labels would be worth more one day. CGC comics old label always brought the allure of tougher grading and I think everyone already thinks that of CSG from the start anyhow too. But i guess your in it for quick flip and thus think your slab is outdated and need new holder to make it sell faster... so yeah cant help ya.

I'm selling new CSG slabs just fine as well as adding many to my PC as well.

Doenst have to be an HGA crowd to appreciate aesthetics and if aesthetics didnt matter in the card industry at any degree then there would be no parallels to begin with.

PSA changed their labels many times, CSG does it once and some get their panties in a wad. Better to do it early and considering how they didnt have the true traction they wanted or needed its damn good they did it now.

onward and upward!

I dont sell often, not even on ebay. Just send more expensive cards to PWCC.

PSA did not make drastic changes to the flips. Stayed red and just small changes. CSG made a huge overhaul of the flip.

Not sending anything at the moment, not worth it. lower end stuff.

Definitely upward, Prices for CSG Slabs are so low that the only direction should be upward. I hope.

So you purposely held onto cards to submit to CSG while you could've submitted to PSA? That sounds like a user error. There was still no point in time where you had the option to choose between $9/card PSA and $8/card CSG where you'd have the cards in hand to sell at this moment.

Yes, I don't know anything about CSC because I've only subbed with CSG. CSG does sports cards. This is a CSG thread. You're the one complaining about CSC in a CSG thread. Should we complain about Panini the book publishing company in a Panini Prizm card thread?

Despite all of the bitching and moaning by a select few, in here, I've noticed an uptick of CSG slabs at shows and online.
It also appears that certain cards I've looked up in CSG holders seem to align with SGC in value.

My large order was completed in less than 30 days, and for $8.20 a card, I'm happy to be a CSG customer for now.
