Suns going to demolish the Grizz in 6. Might even be a quiet 5 game series tbh.

I think if Dallas can get in to 3rd, they'll beat Memphis in the 2nd round.

As long as Ja plays. Whole different game when you have somebody on defense you can pick on every possession.

Is KANG really missing the playoffs? Man, it's close.

Nomad, bro, Nesmith and Pritchard are never gonna happen. They are rotation players at best, yet you harp on about them over and over.

It was a very tanky day today. Indy have completely thrown in the towel, while somebody had to win out of SA and Houston, and OKC and Portland...

Did you watch the game? Udoka left Nesmith in the whole fourth quarter because, as he put it, he was the only guy who could guard Siakem. Aaron had three steals, and nailed the 3-pointer that put the Celts up 4 points with 54 seconds left. Kept the Celts bench competitive with a playoff-level Raptors striving for the play-in and was named Celts player of the game. What more do you want?

If you want to talk about some rookies you have invested in, and also like to watch emerge as proven players, I am all ears.

What's even more pathetic.

The Lakers would be 13th in the East. Wow.

on the usual topic, Smart and White turn out to be an admirable comedy duo, with a dose of inspiration.

No I didn't watch because I was at work and also wouldn't watch Boston play missing their stars.
You just come across as desperately trying to pump these guys who are little else but rotation players. It's one thing to be interested in them and their progress but it's like you think they're superstars just waiting for a break and bring them up almost every single post of yours.
The worst thing for me is how they pronounce it Knee-smith when his name should actually be pronounced Nez-mith or Ney-smith.

hehe ok I get it, well played. My only aim on this forum is to not come across as old and cranky.

By the way have you hear of this prospect named Dedham? I think he's playing somewhere in the South Pacific.

Nah the only basketball I follow is NBA.
Also just to clarify, my 'Ney-smith' above is pronounced Nay-smith or Neigh-smith, not to be confused with Knee.

You really have no clue how significant the B-squad's performance against A-squad Raptors was after Timelord's injury? That's okay, I have no idea what's going on on the Pacers...

Saw article other day that made me laugh. Talking if LeBron should be in MVP talk. Sorry when your team is that bad and has a very good chance of not even making the play in games for the playoffs you have no right to even be considered for MVP.

I wouldn't put much into it. This has been the story of the Raptors season. They play up to competition. They play down to competition. It's happened all year long. It's infuriating as a Raptors fan. Like they're 3 losses to the Pistons out of being right there for the 1 seed.

Pacers are finally tanking properly.

No Myles or TJ Warren. Brogdon and Duarte are pretty much 1 game a week it seems. No TJ McConnell either.

We have Keifer Sykes, Justin Anderson, Duane Washington, Terry Taylor, and Lance Stephenson coming off the bench right now.

I'm completely happy with where we are at right now. Get a top 5 pick hopefully and get healthy.

Why wouldn't you tank right now with Silver as commissioner? He doesn't care. You can blatantly do it and he still wont do anything. Houston has sat their best player for the entire season without any consequences.

Indiana receives:

Tyrese Haliburton
Buddy Hield
Tristan Thompson
Sacramento receives:

Domantas Sabonis
Justin Holiday
Jeremy Lamb
2023 second-round pick

I thought the Pacers slightly** won the deal.
As of right now we can say the kings owner won the trade

Haliburton is definitely a game changer, but then Sabonis was to. A lot of Celts fans wanted him to suit up in green.

Idk about that - don't forget Brooks was hurt most of the year, and he's healthy now. That's a big upgrade going from Z Williams [who's fine for a rookie role player] to DB.

I think I give the slight edge to Phx for CP3's experience/gameplanning, but the Grizz D will give any team fits, doesn't matter how disciplined they are.

Plus as has been mentioned before, if Ja plays then CP3 will make sure they attack him nonstop and put him through the ringer defensively. If Ja plays smart and limits his offensive stubbornness then they have a chance to take it to 7.

Ok, that's it, reality hit me upside the head, its over.

The Lakers are done for the year.

Too many injuries, not enough defense, not enough quality role players. I don't want to put too much blame on coaching staff - not coaches fault all the injuries, not coaches fault dealt a sub-par roster this year.

Best we can do is tell Lebron no more playing GM. Pray a long off-season we can re-tool somehow (with better overall defense) and get AD and Lebron fully healthy for a final last run next season.

Yeah, maybe you're right. But the latest Lebron injuries are the nail in the coffin.

But heck, as any big fan of a team, you always try to remain optimistic as long as possible - gotta stand behind your team.

I think LeBron still needs to play at least 3 more games to be eligible for the scoring title, so something tells me his ankle is going to heal up just enough to play those games. He knows they’re not winning anything this year, so it would actually be best for LA (and LeBron) if they just drop to the 11 seed and don’t get embarrassed in a play-in game by New Orleans or San Antonio. He’ll get another notch on his belt as the oldest scoring champ ever, and then he’ll have a long offseason to try and re-tool for next year.

Yeah I'm ready to put my hand up and say I was wrong - I thought the Spurs wanted no part of the play-in but lately seem to have been trying a bit harder and it now feels like LeBron will win the scoring title but miss the playoffs, helping a narrative that he did all he could but just had no help (which is true to some extent, though this is kind of his own mess).
