Looks like they have changed their thinking on the challenges. They are now making it very difficult to complete flash challenges where the reward is a moment.

This doesn't seem like a good move but what do I know. It is much more fun chasing a new moment than a crappy series 2 base pack.

What do you mean? Once again it’s spread around, this weekend it was non base moments. That doesn’t mean it’s difficult. Mitchell Robinson certainly made it a little difficult but there’s a bunch of guys who almost got in where it would have been decently cheap.

Define very difficult, because if this challenge ends up costing roughly 3-400 dollars, I wouldn’t consider that very difficult. Tough for sure, but not very difficult

I would consider consider $300-400 a difficult challenge and I would be surprised if it ends up that low. Isn't the only Whiteside moment eligible like at $750 already?

If their goal is to increase marketplace spend then it is working. If it is to keep users engaged then I don't think it is working. There is very little marginal cost for them for a new moment.

I'm definitely not one of their big collectors but I do have 525+ moments but I'm not willing to chase moments that costs way more to acquire than what they will eventually be worth.

It's already not worth it for the rookie challenge if you don't already have 2 Scottie Barnes moments.

When ever TS thinks they are improving something, they make it worse.

I liked the challenges at the beginning, a user would have most of the moments needed so the user could just purchase 1 or 2 to complete the challenge. I was actually buying the 1 or 2 and putting money back into TS market.

NOW, the challenges are totally opposite, i have only 1 or 2 already and need to buy 5,7. So i just end up selling and the last couple months just selling and making withdraws , taking money out of the marketplace.

Looks like the Rookie Challenge will be under 1,000 completions and the Vet challenge under 200.

I don't think this is what they intended but they basically left out 90+% of their users from a weekend long challenge.

To be honest, challenges are always like this.

Most people who spend to complete it, enjoy the player or want to play the serial lottery or boost their CS points.

The only time it is profitable for someone is if they happen to own the major bottleneck or bought it way before it blew up, in which they now have an asset to sell for a ridiculous amount. (For EX: I remember Patty Mills MGLE went up to 3k during that Easy/Medium/Hard Christmas challenge. Lowest ask previously was $200)

Every challenge is the best time to exit.

They need to make the challenges easier so everyone just needs 1 or 2 to finish. Then money flows in to the market.

They aren't pumping anyone. They choose the stat categories and it falls out how it may for a challenge. The tiers make it harder, but they aren't sitting around thinking of players to increase prices on.

Lebron moment for the challenge tonight but 2 rare moments minimum will be needed.

It has been almost two weeks since a flash challenge with a moment prize could be completed for under $500.

If this is the new normal for flash challenges, I'm cashing out my 550+ moments. Flash challenges were the only thing left that I enjoyed but I'm not sticking around to complete challenges for a Series 2 base pack or spending hundreds for the veteran challenge.

Kind of sad to see TS sinking slowly. Did not expect to make millions, but at least have some fun and positive growth.

Feels like i am only looking to sell at the right time , challenges , nowadays. Nothing to do with prospecting rookies or collecting superstars anymore.

Once i must have had 30-50 s1/s2 traes, cp3, etc. But the direction is not building what is good players, but more guessing moments need for challenges .
