I have a bad feeling that next week's games are not going to be good. The Bengals are going to get destroyed by the Chiefs. I could see the Rams game getting out of hand as well although more hopeful that game will be good. But if the Rams can get up a couple of scores that is when Jimmy is bound to make mistakes.

All I will say is that was some of the most pathetic pass defense I've ever seen by both the Bills and the Chiefs.

It's not hard to look like a great QB when your receivers are that wide open....

And Sean McDermott should get rightly crucified for not kicking the ball short and forcing the Chiefs to use a few precious seconds on the return. That was the difference between Mahomes having two plays instead of just one....

It's a lot easier to have an explosive offense when both teams' pass defense is horrendous.

I like the 10 minutes OT period rule for the playoffs. Whoever has the lead after that period expires wins. If tied after that, then they can have a sudden death period or FG kicking duel.

All I know is 177 yards passing by Mahomes after the 2 minute warning is just silly

If the Bengals still have Ja'Marr Chase and Joe Burrow, I don't think they are getting destroyed. I fully expect another nail biter.

All the Bills had to do was tsquib kick and let them return it to eat the clock and avoid the field goal. Why did they not do that?

They probably felt the Chiefs could advance the ball far enough to get off one play to get in FG position.

Highly unlikely they would have gotten good enough field position. They didn't all game, they would have had a better chance surrounding them with a squib trickling around. Pretty bad imo

Bills might have been afraid of something like this:

Agreed. Belichick figured this one out after they changed the rules - kick it as close as possible to the 1 to force a return is better than a touchback to the 25.

Pretty sure something similar happened in 2008 when the Falcons beat the Bears in the regular season. It was the game that made Matt Ryan "Matty Ice"....

I realize that the odds are always 100% right and nothing crazy ever happens, but watching the Chiefs try to cover great (and sometimes not so great) WRs is painful. Cincy is going to score plenty.

I mean, the squib would have to still be executed well. If it trickles into the endzone, it's a tb. If it's kicked too short, the returner still gets a good 3-4 seconds to advance it past the 25 where they started, or simply run straight out of bounds and burn only 2 or 3 seconds.

The key thing is that the Chiefs still had multiple time outs. So at the end of the day, they would have had most likely had 2 shots to get in fg range.

I'm more perplexed by their shallow coverage on Kelce on that final pass play allowing all that YAC.

Neither defense was built to stop the opposing offense in those waning moments. Which is why everyone and their momma knew whoever won the coin flip in OT was going to put it away.

Bills cost me a perfect 4/4 this weekend.

no way in hell they had the #1 defense or whatever, maybe playing Miami and the Jets helped, idk, but that was insane.

to allow those last two drives before OT was embarassing. playing Tecmo Bowl prevent style defense with 13 seconds left...are you kidding me?

what a wasted performance by Josh Allen, who would have entered into Elite QB status after tonight, but instead, he'll be just a level below Rodgers, Brady, and Mahomes still.

This will be part of 30 and 30 why the Bills choke. When you squib kick, it takes time off. I can't believe I watch something out of a Madden NFL game. Clemson coach once said Deshaun Watson is Michael Jordan, he is wrong, it is the Chief god.

There was no defense to be found last night.

Phenomenal QBs, but defense was atrocious.
