To be fair, he broke is finger at the end of the last season as well. Putting the broken bone tally at 2.

I’m just frustrated - have quite a bit of $$ in Zion 2019/20 unopened product, drank the cool aid on how great he’ll be ( which still could happen ), but keeping seeing him as:

1. Always hurt
2. Always fat

I didn’t start buying him until they started giving him consistent star minutes in late January of last year. I know his play time was spotty before that, but it seemed like mostly dumba$$ management going on from afar. The finger injury in the spring seemed more like an excuse to send a message to the league rather than a real injury to be concerned about, but that’s just my opinion. The foot injury is a concern, yes, but he is extremely young, and medicine is getting better with every year that passes. Like anything, always make sure you understand your own risk tolerance. You can still get very good money for his cards or sealed wax if you want out

I don't own too much Zion...but I'm absolutely rooting for him to succeed.

I did get a bit worried when I read that he chose his mom as his personal chef during the pandemic. Those media day before/after photos are pretty startling.

When he's healthy though, he's definitely one of my favorite players to watch.

If any of you all saw my post in the feedback section, you’ll know I had a bit of a headache getting the seller to actually ship this card after I won it in an auction on eBay last month. Well, after opening a case, lo and behold, the seller finally shipped the card and it arrived safely. This is the first Zion auto I have in the collection and it’s one that doesn’t pop up very often. Not a huge fan of stickers, but love this card nonetheless. Looks great sitting next to my base Donruss PSA 10s! Just gotta get big boy healthy and rolling now!

If I had any kind of money tied up in Zion I’d be bailing out so fast… The guy is flat out too big and his body is breaking down from the stresses. He can’t or won’t change his habits and even if he snaps out of it in a couple of years it might be too late to save his feet and joints. He’s in for an injury plagued (and likely short) career.

Totally, his body is betraying him big time. He injured his knee when his shoe exploded (which has happened to numerous NBA players, search YouTube)

He broke his finger getting swiped down on by a defender. Obese guys have notoriously brittle fingers.

And then he broke his foot in a closed training session. Totally indicates that he "won't change his ways" and is committed to being fat.
