Sorry I have watched some, but F1 is so boring because not much change of position throughout a typical race. They do have a nice race length for time. Heard the next gen model cars will give fans better racing.

As for WWE I check in occasionally, but it's pretty much unwatchable as I grew up watching all throughout the 90's.

Yeah big time. Getting scarce too.

But I’d be a little weary at current price (and I’m holding five boxes). Hype could die off a bit potentially.

A lot of people have recently gotten invested in it and it’s the “trendy hit break” right now. Saw the same thing with UEFA last year.

Right, I have one box sealed, I don't know much about F1 so probably will just hold and see what happens. Low buy in price and no real need for the money now to sell so lets let it ride!

I’d cap them at $1,500 over the next few months. It’s not a bad play to cash now before they hit a plateau.

Breakers breaking will only increase value long-term and first year plays a big role.

Sky is the limit in 10 years, but is your money better off cashed and circulated a few times through by then? Decisions decisions…

Thanks for posting this info. I only have one box, and I didn't have any long term strategy. I just didn't get around to listing it. At $1,250 I'm a seller.

No problem. I feel like some sort of financial advisor lol.

I will caveat that I'm not always 100% right. I made the mistake of selling 2018-19 basketball stuff way way too early. I do like to share my opinions outloud.

You could have had these for $800ish for months and all of a sudden, they're hitting $1200? We'll see what happens but have a feeling with more and more stuff coming out here soon, some of us are going to prefer cash flow rather than sitting on 1 box of a top tier F1 product for years on end.

Any idea of when we'll be seeing the next club set? Seems like a lot will have to get crammed in here within the next 3 months before we renew. I think we need 3 more plus some pre-order exclusives to go.

That's where I was. The last time I looked I want to say they were at $750, which wasn't enough for me to sit down and list it. This current price changes that.

Exactly! Another thing to consider, some of the monster 1/1s are still hanging out there... and F1 is becoming more and more popular with ESPN streaming almost all races now and including highlights on Sports Center.

Here I am contradicting everything I said earlier

Either way, the price jump right now is a big jump.

I didn't sign off on this. What people will finally realize is my deep hatred with Panini that brought me many long nights.

When did you get your redemptions in? I pulled the 1/1 last year and haven't seen it yet. I didn't know the autos were live. Recent mail delivery or am I about to get screwed by Topps?

Both were shipped out to me on April 20th.

Why would Topps pass on a free couple million in revenue?

It's possible all the recent releases would cause a snafu with printing that - many names in the set that are no longer part of WWE.

Not sure what Topps' agreement with WWE is but just spitballin here.

Major major blow to Topps who will be a shell of themselves without the MLB license. Seemingly since their deal with MLBPA expires after 2023, I don't think they will be able to make cards with player names and images after that. Separately, I also thought this part was interesting,

"In a memo sent to baseball players Thursday, MLBPA executive director Tony Clark said “other significant sports properties also separately have agreed to exclusive licenses with (the new Fanatics company) in the trading cards category"

I suspect Panini and perhaps Upper Deck are going to get dinged pretty good too. Fanatics is an $18 billion business no way Topps, Panini or Upper Deck can compete with that. I think at one point Fanatics was looking to buy Topps. Topps management must be kicking themselves now.
