Trying to piece together a refractor set. I was thinking around $500 for the set but if that is way off, please let me know.

Yeah....i've had absolutely zero problems selling the following and of course doing as ^^^^ this user posted. Starting your auctions at $0.99 automatically will get people watching and even bidding on the "key rookies".

-Blue Shimmer (/75) Doku already at $89 with over 20 watchers
-(/150) Doku already at $21 with 26 watchers

The one BIN/OBO i did list because i really want to grade and hold but willing to part if someones willing to pay $1,000 is Atomic Mojo Camavinga Auto (#/99) has 8 watchers in 12 hours..

i have about 6 guys with saved searches and I go through every day and favorite the new listings i want to watch. seems like it works to me.

ok a few more not a few less. looks like for the most part there won’t be merlin in this weeks walmart stocks, it’s looking like chronicles and gypsy queen.

walmart stocked them online yesterday, so there will be one more wave to hit ebay when those deliver. I’ve picked up 8 this week at about $38 shipped.

If any one is looking to trade I have listed some inserts and refractors that I need to complete sets in the BTS section. I have lots of base as well as extra inserts to trade. I would also be interested in purchasing.

Is anyone else seeing a lot of laser lines on Aqua Speckle /175 cards? Didn't know if it's considered "normal" for speckle carts but on 4 of them I have a can see 1 vertical and 2 horizontal indented lines if you hold at an offset angle

yes. it’s similar to what you see on an xfractor. psa has been a little inconsistent in how they handle those historically, but there are many psa 10 xfractors with the refractor lines.

They are on every speckle card I've seen. Good thing is they aren't really apparent at all besides when looking from a very flat angle, so doesn't hurt the aesthetics.

Traveled to upstate NY this week for my gf's mothers birthday and came across two of these boxes at a local Walmart for $20 each. Got shouted at by the older lady employee for browsing through the section which was meant to be cordoned off (there were no signs), but they let me have the 2 boxes as that was the max allowed.

I haven't been following the trajectory of this release, but planning on going through this thread to educate myself - appreciate all of the knowledge that everyone has provided here ��

I guess the main question I have right now is the one on everyone's mind... Hold the sealed wax for a while, or rip?

Actually , neither is a bad option. The boxes will go up, but they're also loaded with value especially at retail price.

Sealed will always win on average. It's just way less fun. In this case, with the way the exclusives are still selling, you are +EV on them at Walmart prices (though it's been dipping pretty fast as base singles have kinda tanked). So on average/at volume, it's a pretty easy choice if you also like the fun of ripping, IMO. Just so many of the Aqua Prizm still going for 10-20. Have to think volume eventually catches up and that stops... but who knows. It isn't like they are super rare.

Does anyone know how many rookie photo variations there are approximately per card? They are about 1:240 blasters. I'd assume there is probably less then 100 per player

Busted (4) Blasters today. I was NOT disappointed at all. Great cards, overall. One box in particular was pretty loaded...

The PEDRI Aqua Speckle /175 was the highlight...but lots of other really nice $15-30-ish hits, as well as a nice amount of the top rookies.

Sealed will easily go up - after this next week, I don't expect to see any of this available at stores. And once that happens, I think it's pretty clear this stuff will jump. This is one of my favorite buys over the last year or so (blasters around $40 ea).

The problem is, there's lots of people ripping this, seeing "RC" and a number and thinking they have hit the jackpot - the reality is, most of these players are average at best. Some of the prices a few weeks ago (and still today) are utterly ridiculous, with even the most boring players having a European Cup trophy priced in.

It's ridiculous and can't last, and falling prices show that.
