The quantity made very much matters. It has to do with probability of hits. So transparency with these is very important IMHO.

Yes, but what I'm saying is, if you've already bought the box without knowing the odds, do the odds matter after the fact?

I'd say no. Would change the approach for next year, but not relevant at this point.

Correct. After the fact is irrelevant. I haven’t bought a box yet so it matters to me.

Yup, lot of retail product. Hope this isn't the case for everyone.

Edit: Looks like $800 of site value here. Still, does not help some fears that this would be a lot of retail going out to people.

Yea, I hope not but I won’t be surprised. Maybe I’ll hit something nice but I honestly would have rather had a “$300” hobby box than “$700” worth of retail stuff. Maybe less “value” but better chance at a nice hit.

Also, the Trevor Lawrence box was wrapped inside the t-shirt so make sure you take that shirt out and unroll it.

Yikes that’s terrible except for the Bowman Megabox. I would rather get less value in hobby then more in retail.

That's not good but the Bowman Mega box isn't terrible.

This is not good
No hobby and no basketball
I’ve got 2 6.2’s coming.
With the exception of the 2018 update ohtani pack - I don’t even think the years are good on this retail.

Most figured these would be like that though. Inflated prices make it tough to put good hobby boxes in a $500 box.

Nailed it.
My concern with these was that if you didnt hit one of the big items from the sell sheet that you'd be disappointed
If its no basketball and no hobby UNLESS you're one of the 20-30 lucky ones, then plenty of disappointment coming

I think they could have taken some of the retail out and at least put in a cheaper hobby box for $500 so it doesn’t look like a complete retail dump.
