To be fair, the 3k and odd flip for 2,999 was #19. Now its listed for 3900.

Im torn, I told myself that if I got the Durant I would take it to the digital grave, but it would be nice to get back all of what I have put in. I just have to think if NFTs really do become a thing, this moment will be one of the iconic ones.

I do think this moment will be one of the more iconic ones if TS really does take off or have a long run. Then again, I would get back over triple what I have in the platform based on the few sub 50 comps available.

I'm pretty sure the other half of the supply will be released in the Holo pack so 50% of the supply is still coming so you could potentially cash in on the high serial now, priced somewhere you would be happy with, and rebuy back in later. This IS financial advice.

The googledoc has 325 as part of this release. so a little cushion there considering 500 packs are part of their hold back.

What did the guy do that pulled that Lebron a month or so back? That was a 20-40k pull. Did he hold or let it go immediately?

Not sure what he did. There's also the variable of the challenge or whatever they do with these. They said the Lebron will be 'earnable', didn't say the word challenge so we don't know if KD will be part of that or not.

If you don't want to keep it, it might be best to sell it and buy a couple of cheaper rare moments to get your score higher to meet the requirement for the Holo. Unless you are sitting on 8k points or more.

Don't fall in love with the moments if you're in it for the money. Even the best moments from the earliest LE's have lost tremendous value.

Sell at the peak and buy back later for cheaper if you really want one for your pc. There will be many more LE's of every star player in future releases. Never a lack of choices or availability.

This is the way. The odds of it going up are probably next to zero. You could easily sell now and buy later if you want but odds are good that if you sold now for $2k or something and had the chance to buy it back at $1k, you probably wouldn’t.

The TS trends are very easy to read at this point. I unfortunately learned the hard way how even a day or two can cost you a large amount of potential profit.

On a side note, Wasnt the final tally under 20k in the queue for a cant miss EV pack?

If thats correct, why do they need to raise the collector score for the Holo? 20k isnt a lot of people. The pack count would be around 2k and the price upwards of 1k? As it sits thats a 1/10 chance which was better than the previous Holo pack right?

Because the marketplace saw some gains day over day so why not run it back. Bleed it dry.

And if it were me, I’d sell now and forget it but that’s me. Things can go down fast in the blink of an eye, especially the pricier moments.

sometimes it is better to have crappy serial numbers. I kept 100's of serial cause i was collecting certain serials. Cost me big time , got too attached. Looking back, wish they all was crappy numbers so i would have sold way earlier.

Yep this, have no loyalty to moments. Yes if I had held a few of could have made maybe an extra 500 to 1000 but I also could have been holding the bag after everyone got out

Haven't checked the thread out for a while. Seems like the same arguments are being had. Got 95% out a while back but still have a few $3-10 moments that I've kept from packs and such. Don't qualify for any packs, and it's definitely not tempting to have to spend over a thousand dollars to be eligible for a pack with bad ROI.

Do people honestly think that dunk is iconic? It's a nice play in the regular season against the Cavs. It's nice but I don't think people will remember it two years from now or so.

There will be many iconic Moments in the Playoff series. I'm looking forward to picking up the LeBron3PT shot over Curry. Sure it was against my favorite team but I was relieved LeBron finally took a shot that counted in a win or go home game.

Best advice has been to sell now and buy one or two other rare moments if you believe in Top Shot for the long term. That is what I would do.

Agreed. People are short sighted in not realizing that there will be older moments released and future moments that will overshadow this one.
