A plus to being stuck on call. I put a weather Tec low profile hood protector on my truck. I highly recommend it!

let's do the math:

Clips: big game tested, with a stone cold assassin in Kawhi. (who I would take with the game on the line over anyone on either team) Have players who have actually been in a game 7 and despite blowing a 3-1 lead have been there.

Mavs: except for Luka are a bunch of scrubs who have never been to a game seven and don't have the experience.

Not hard to understand, but we can keep on with the back and forth. I'm on call for a 24 hour shift and and I'm pretty much homebound.
Ive read the Luka thread and have ruffled some feathers with my responses.

I've learned from Khal that Luka walks on water and he is the reason children exist on planet Earth. Oh... Everything is Porzingis' fault in loses.

If you try to say otherwise you're a troll. You can't win. Best to just move on.

Not my fault you moved the goalpost after realizing how contradictory you were. All good buddy.

Honesty hurts!!!!!!

I'll say it again. I love Luka. I can't wait to see how he grows and develops and can imagine how good he will be at 26+ years old. It's in my best interest for Luka and the Mavs to win. I have some nice cards of him. I have none of Kawhi/George or anyone else on the Clips.

But I'm also a realist. It's just not the Mavs time. Yet.

Oh and that. The goalposts are always moving too.

You'll get more enjoyment out of headbutting a brick wall. Have you ever seen the movie The Happening? You begin to envy those people the longer you continue.

This version of the Clippers hasn’t been tested, but some of the players on the team have made big plays in the biggest of games.

A comparison would be the Lakers last year. The year before they missed the playoffs, but that didn’t change the fact that they had a guy who had went to the Finals like ten years in a row in Lebron. And as was proven with the Lakers/Suns series this year, that experience isn’t everything, but it’s something worth considering when trying to predict who will take game 7.

Last I saw the line was -6.5 for the Clippers. Oddsmakers and the betting public are favoring the Clippers, and I don’t think it’s that difficult to figure out why. Regardless, you don’t get to game 7 without either team besting the other three times already, so no outcome should come as a surprise, but the Clippers should be considered the obvious favorite.

I didn’t even say I think the Mavs are going to win. If I was putting money on it, I’d bet LA.

The posts were just stupid. Somehow the 2020-21 Clippers are more proven than the 2020-21 Mavs in close games that matter. Based on what exactly?

What the Pels do this offseason will be one of the biggest storylines. I think they'll try and keep Lonzo around and probably move Ingram, but I could see Lonzo wanting to move on either way too.

He'd be a great fit next to Luka, yes.

Conley and Lowry will both also be gettable and have experience playing off-ball or as combo guards with other ball-dominant guys [Mitchell, FVV].

All I know is that the Mavs cannot afford to strike out. If they do as little as they did last year, it’s another mediocre season and early exit.

They have THJr, Reddick, Boban, and Melli coming off the books, plus J-Rich could decline his player option... which would give them quite a bit of $$ to play with. They could choose to buy him out too.

Then I'm assuming they'll be actively trying to trade KP - and if Portland is trying to move McCollum, that almost makes too much sense for both teams, but I guess we'll see. With the $$ owed to both, neither will be highly sought after, so for a change of scenery trade, it makes sense.

I see Tim Hardaway Jr hasn't changed a bit since his knicks days. Shows you a glimpse of talent, makes you believe for a second, then bricks layups and his shot disappears and you can't wait to get rid of him lol

Tim Hardaway is doing his job this series.

He's averaging 18 points on 46% from 3, 43% overall.

I don't know why anyone would expect more, ever out of Tim Hardaway Jr. Those numbers across a full season would be his best season of his career.

The real let down has been Porzingis. In the 3 games that he played last year in the playoffs he averaged 24 points and 9 rebounds. He shot 53% from three.

On top of that, trading Seth Curry for Josh Richardson was a bad move. They could have used him this series for certain.

Disagree. THJ has been very good this season. Is he the most consistent player you’ll find? No. But he shot 39.1% from three in the regular season, and is shooting 45.8% in the playoffs. He’s been their second best player this year.

I’d like THJ and Boban to stay. Melli is fine as an end of bench guy. Redick needs to retire, like I said multiple times before and after the trade. JRich should opt out now that he’s been relegated to the bench. And I couldn’t care less what they get for KP. He just has to go. He’s toxic.

You mean the game in which he was Dallas' leading scorer until Luka picked up those garbage time points down 10 in the last minute?

Yup the one where he looked good for a minute then bricked layups and disappeared, that's the one

Ballhawk coming in with another realistic post.

But when I put in an honest opinion saying the Clips are going to win you got all hot.

My posts aren't stupid. They are honest and realistic. Instead of being a blind homer and running with the crowd, I speak the truth.

If you can't see the clips have more experience, I don't know what to tell you. I'm not the only one saying this.

and maybe work on the anger? It's only sports.

agree. This has been the difference maker in this series.
