Yup, officiating will slack off as usual and the skill guys will be dealing with another level of interference, grabbing, whacking and the like.

I really like the Bruins chances this year. But the playoffs are a whole new game. It will be fun. Would love to see the Bruins face the Oilers and McDavid in the finals !

Between the teams playing each other constantly all year and the lag between the playoffs starting and end of season for some of these series they may lose a lot of the audience outside of a few markets. should have moved these start dates up.

Boston’s Achilles heel as been their lack of secondary scoring the past few years, which has now been fixed with the addition of Hall and even Lazar centering the fourth line.

If they play their game and Rask is on, going to be tough to beat.

He has two top-25 playoff runs of all-time so I would hardly worry about him being on. He usually is.

The smooth brain Rask haters will tell you he's a choke artist but those Bruins teams are nowhere near hoisting the Cup without his excellence.

Correct. Lots of love and hate for Rask. But the fact is he has been stellar in the playoffs recently (we will just forget about the bubble incident)

Curious to see what happens in the 3rd round as there's no way our Government allows Americans teams in an out. I wonder if they'll do a bubble city for 3rd round in the US somewhere?

Sounds like the NHL has give the Canadian government a 6/1 deadline regarding a decision on border crossing/quarantine exceptions. Does not sound promising.

If a neutral US site becomes the North home for the semis (and finals if needed), they would choose an unused NHL arena that is lighter on travel. For example for North vs West it may be Arizona, North vs. Central it may be Dallas, North vs. East it may be Jersey, etc. I would also think the league would like to have it in areas allowing for more spectators to maximize revenue.

Maybe Buffalo will get to see some playoff hockey after all?

Hopefully. Makes for better playoffs when the babies get a few good wacks.

Tickets? Must be nice, we are under a "stay at home" order in Ontario. Giant clusterfrick.

I am jealous, enjoy the game!

Hopefully it ends better than today's game.

That was an absolutely mental first game between the Florida teams. Holy crap.

Now who's ready for some meaningless regular season CGY-VAN shinny? Quite the followup haha

Joe Thornton is often mention as HOFer and should do well on the leafs playoff run. Win or lose, he'll be remembered as one of the best. His Black Diamond rookie still hasn't jumped much yet for some reason. We often mention him on BO and his Black Diamond rc about as one of the rarest rookies in the 90s. 1:900 to get the regular version. And only /50 made for the gold parallel. And they are super condition sensitive.

It already has jumped.
His base UD one jumped a lot graded.

He can only do well if they win. Anything else means nothing.
