I mowed on Monday, April 5th and it looks like the weekly mowing has started for me.

It has a ton of coverage, fairly cheap and I have a couple bags left (if they are still good). I've tried Pennington in the past with mixed results. Only had spots grow well and for the most part it didn't stick around. Had another batch not grow at all and at $70 a bag didn't want to risk it.

Every time I try and look up the reviews such as the Scotts 3x Ultrafeed the reviews of people totally burning and ruining the entire lawn scared me off.
I aerated and used a lime/fertilizer mix before seeding but I haven't had to do anything else since and it's been 5 years, so maybe that was the key.
I cut yesterday. Really didn't need it but we're suppose to get rain the next 3-4 days.

The day I have another grown ass adult doing my laundry for me is the day I just give up.

Nobody, and I repeat, nobody wants to deal with your dirty skivvies...

I could maybe see getting someone to do my lawn....but still....weak.

Got a Cub Cadet last year...but I won't be mowing with it this year. Wife is getting the house and the tractor, I'm gonna end up in an apartment (and paying her for 10 years). Sucks. I make way more than her but I'm gonna have less money to spend. It just isn't right.

If that’s all it takes I’ll come drive up and do a couple loads for you.

A+, Impressive, first use, plenty of power and durability. 3 speeds and reverse. Used 2nd speed mostly.Thick, wet stuff didn't even slow it down. Handled ditches and canal bank with ease. After about 30 minutes batteries still had full charge.
I gonna buy the leaf blower next and maybe a push mower in the future.

Look into a tall fescue if you have a lot of foot traffic. Just be sure before you seed with it because it’s thick and dark green and will really stand out when mixed with a blue, rye, creeping fescue mix.

I really need to fertilize and aerate. I’m sure that’s a part of it.

Half of the court we play on is dead by the end of July so it mixing/blending doesn’t matter. I don’t live in town where it would matter. I wanted to get in over seeding this month but the weather had been so nice we’ve already played twice.

I’ve looked at Tall Fescue but it’s hard to get a bag with much of it in the mix. I might have to suck it up and pay 2-3x normal cost and get a 100% seed of Tall Fescue or a Kentucky Blue online, which I’ve been told self repairs.

Mowed for the first time this year today. Got it finished just as the rain moved in.

Somebody other than me will be mowing the lawn here before too long but it won't be my lawn anymore...so I really don't care.

100% accurate

My entire life is built on paying for things I don’t want to do

My handyman replaces all my lightbulbs and smoke detector batteries once a year.

I haven't mowed yet this year. My neighbor's big tree fell in front of my driveway so I've been busy, logging. My riding lawn mower has a flat...life will get better.
