First time getting back into new products, so I'm curious if anyone is gonna sit on sealed product of series 1? I know it depends on how the rookie class pans out, but is that a strategy anymore since Topps is increasing production?

I plan on sitting on a few cases of retail, long term. The increased production doesn't worry me a ton since I plan on holding 3+ years.

I don’t mind sitting on retail i like that i get at msrp. Worst case scenario the rookie class is terrible, it’ll still be an interesting rip down the road.

so far all the fun rips have been the second tier products lol

Yeah if you have cases it is worth it.

Not worth sitting on $20 blasters at target and holding them that would be silly just rip them.

Opened one Hobby Jumbo box and got:

an Alex Gordon auto
a Kyle Lewis major league materials relic
one of those manufactured patches (of Justin Verlander's RC)
1 gold parallel (Dodgers team card)
1 orange parallel (can't remember who -- nothing too exciting)
1 memorial day parallel (Josh Bell)
the usual RCs
random rainbow and "gold foil" parallels
nothing else of note -- nothing much in the silver packs

An average box, I would guess.

Good lord prices are ridiculous.

Ryan Mountcastle SP selling for $300.

I really feel people are gonna be holding for some of these. Still amazes me a year ago how cheap Yordan and Bo were compared to these.

I just pulled Bryce Harper Reverence Autograph Patch Card 08/10. Aaron Judge Cap Logo Patch 057/299, Bo Bichette 1986 Relic Game Worn Jersey, Bellinger Gold, and Kershaw SSP from a Jumbo.

That Harper is AWESOME

After everyone was after Pokémon today (including our son), I found these two hidden aside the 2020 Topps Chrome Update boxes at Target. I never thought I’d find these in the wild. The limit is 3 at our Target, so I bought them both. I’ll rip these tonight with our son.

My son got this in the last pack of a blaster today. It wasn't backwards or anything so we almost missed it. The White Sox are literally our least favorite team but still fun to find.

Opened my two hobby boxes from Topps direct. Debated on holding second box but couldn’t resist opening it. Glad I did as a braves fan with the Acuna pull

Btw, I’m kind of new here, so would I sell the GPK card in gpk or baseball? Lol

My LCS had one silver pack for sell for 2021 Topps Series 1 for $10 and I decided why not snag it. They usually always sell the box toppers that come with the boxes they open to sell individual packs but never was I expecting to hit this. Kinda bummed its a sticker auto but love the look of the card.

I live outside of Cleveland and we got over a foot of snow this week. The roads are fine now, but they were bad for a couple days and I didn't get mail Monday- Wednesday

I finally received and opened my retail case (16 x 24 x 12, or 288 packs)- collation of the base cards was really consistent (about 12 of each card), but the inserts were all over the place and only have about 50% of a master set.
