This is pure speculation. But we heard Blake say on his show, for example, he only knew his first three subjects, and he flashed one on screen but did not hint to the others. It felt like artists got to request players they wanted to create, but the decisions had to be approved. Does that make sense?
Absolutely makes sense. I think a lot of us share the same opinion that we all would like an artist check list prior to blindly purchasing an artist set early in advance as Blake also discussed would be a potential option from topps.

I think so. I don't get them all either, but enough to be amused.

And that comment, sir, makes even more sense than mine.

But I don't think we'll be so lucky.

Looks like he will make Jose Canseco card for Project 70??

Awesome. Collected his prints before I got into cards and I collected his entire set. Incase people are wondering why he's doing Canseco, he's not much of a baseball guy and I think he said the first time he ever heard of Mark McGwire was from The Lonely Island's "The Unauthorized Bash Brothers Experience" so this is the companion piece to his McGwire.

It will be great if Project 70 brings in new fans that go back to Project 2020 to pick up the Taylor McGwire to pair with their Taylor Canseco.

Another 1/1 up for auction. Siff/Ichiro. The Fucci/Mays did not receive a bid at $999 and now posted as a BIN

Topps now has subscriptions offered for their Living Sets. Billed once a week. Looks like the Project70 subscription rumors for artists will come true.

Great deal for people who don't care about anything and buy everything. This will save those people a decent amount!

I believe one of Matt Taylor's stated goals is to be richer than the richest kings of Europe.

This can't hurt.

I've decided I'm going to be fiscally responsible and skip Project70.

I'll patiently wait for Project70 Chrome Sapphire.

Everyone says that until they see the cards.

Storage question:

I have 400 one touches I need to store safely. I saw a few people selling complete sets on ebay that had them in 3 briefcases with foam inserts. Unless someone has a better plan, where are people getting those?

Sure does! So does the Rivera “Sand Blob”. I can’t take my eyes off that card! I regret missing out on a lot of the early cards but missing Efdot’s first couple really stings. His full set plus companions looks fantastic.

Says the guy who passed on buying cards he wanted direct so he could spend countless hours tracking them down on eBay to save $3-$5. I have faith in you.

Some of the posters on this thread still have the money they got for their First Communion.

I store cards in cardboard boxes, with the stuff that I want to access readily in my desk. I need my Naturel George Brett at my fingertips at all times, in case work gets stressful. I don't think foam inserts are needed if you have the cards in plastic card sleeves.

But, if I ever wanted to cash in my baptism treasury bonds, this has been recommended to me: https://thecollectioncase.com
