Default Toronto Sports authentication ANDRE

Does this outfit have a good reputation? I have a friend that has multiple pieces authentic by them just looking for some confirmation.

Hello, I'm from Toronto and never head of them. Been involved in the industry for over 35 years and never heard of this authentication service.

Stay safe and happy holidays.

This was the promoter of a (now defunct) mall show that used to sell autographs. I’m not saying Andre is a fake, but I know of issues with some of the autos he was selling along with his COA. I’d have that auto quick opinioned by PSA before I bought it.

I've been collecting and going to shows in Ontario for years

Never heard of this outfit - address is tiny cubicle in an old flea market building that they do farmer's markets now

I'd stay away - looks fishy

Further, the address is a mall that’s being torn down.

I am from Toronto and I know of the weekly show that was run in that mall for 20 + years until they started closing all the stores in the mall to put up 7 new condo buildings(now in construction) in the same spot as the mall.

A guy named Joe ran the show and was very well known and trusted.

A lot of other vendors did Joe's show on Saturday and the other weekly shows at the hotel or at Leaside.

There is a phone number on the cert of authenticity - which I assume Joe still owns.
Give him a call ... I think he would still be at that number and will answer.

I wouldn't give much credence to that certificate.

It doesn't even state the name of the person who authenticated the autograph.

A real authentication service would NOT put a WWF Logo on the certificate.
