I hear you. I keep typing a long response, but what I want to say is tough to communicate. A much bigger problem than "he's racist, she's racist", IMO. But if that post was "they" as in all black people want retribution, and not related to those with more particularly divisive beliefs (which is not racially exclusive, especially openly so in the modern day), then yes - most certainly racist and should be condemned. And pretty ridiculously false, as well.

I think in the bigger picture, a lot of this more divisive stuff from all sides makes people defensive, makes them feel backed into a corner, and leads to them saying things they don't even mean.

I get you. I'm also sick of the talking heads saying dumb stuff just to provoke a reaction and get ratings. And I'm tired of the media highlighting every dumb opinion. To hate Josh Allen because for the reasons he's stated is obviously ridiculous because every team is going to have rednecks following them.

That said, I'm going to speak up about people who use "they" and how bad diversity is. We both know what the comments meant. Enough is enough. It doesn't matter if you feel backed into a corner because you interpreted someone as having insulted the flag. You shouldn't be able to get away with saying that crap.

Understood. And unfortunately, I think you're right about that comment. But I don't think all of this has nearly as much to do with the flag as you're saying.
