Is the USPS goofing off?

This is the 2nd time in 3 days our whole street has received our mail. I know my house, my moms house and my cousin’s house, plus neighbors haven’t received mail for 2/3 days. We all have informed delivery from the USPS. Today when I really needed a present delivered the family wasn't supposed to see, it never came. Now it will come tomorrow when my family is home. They are really nosy. I can’t win with this postal service the last 3-4 years.

The USPS is flooded right now with packages due to the pandemic. It has nothing to do with your street. They're swamped and under staffed. It's happening everywhere.

I, basically, just expect Priority Mail to take up to 2 weeks for delivery either shipped by me or to me. If it makes it before that, well, win! 1st class, who knows? I had a first class package/envelope take nearly 3 weeks to get to me from Cali. It made it to the distribution center, disappeared for days, got sent back to origin, nothing again for days, finally went to the distribution again and took another week to arrive.

Well, considering Sunday usps doesn't run and today is Tuesday, then you should have only receive mail 2 out of the last three days.

No...I wish people would have some compassion and understanding of what these folks are up against right now...

I just tracked something I sold and this is what it says:

Civil unrest has delayed delivery. We are ready to deliver as soon as conditions allow.
