Also, all the d-bag talk about “haters” and smacking mothers was pathetic. The dude had a full blown temper tantrum then spent 10 minutes having his cronies validate his meltdown.
Exactly. I'm honestly surprised no one called them out on stream for it. A room of "collectors" and no one mentioned that ripping up a 1/1 was going a bit far? Just cackling? They've been breaking a long time. They know refractor cards don't go in a one-touch...

Stupidest excuse. Sure take care of the customer. It is a 1/1 though so even if it is damaged, there is still value to a Markkanen collector.

If you aren't in the wrong, why turn off the comments?

The levels of insecurity run deeper than I ever imagined in this hobby. Dropping $600 to immediately destroy it to show how badazz you are is next level stuff.

@platinumcardbreaks what happened? You sandwiched the entire right side of the card in the holder. But you got your sticker on straight.

I would totally want to break with someone who gets so triggered after people calling him out about putting a card in a one touch wrong that he decides to destroy a 1/1

Can panini legally now make another one and insert it into this year's product randomly? That would be awesome.

Speaks volumes on the type of image Platinum wants to project.

Funny to see the glaring parallels between Jabbs and Platinum boot lickers.

Looking forward to fan defense YouTube videos.

He paid market price for the card and did want he wanted with his own property. Basically lit $400 on fire. Was it over the top, yes. Do they offer a consistent / reliable product with their breaks, yes. Are people on here vastly overreacting, yes.

People calling for Panini action need to calm the ^&(* down.

I wonder if he wears gloves as he shovels 5000 calories per meal into his mouth. So fat. So, so fat.

Also, the people that said well he paid for the card, what is the guy that hit that card supposed to do? Is he just supposed to keep the worthless card? Of course he sold the card. He could have offered anything for the card, yeah you can say well $600, but the number doesn't matter, if he doesn't sell the card to PCB he gets a worthless card in the mail. He destroys the card, then puts the owner of the card in an impossible situation.

If you reply with...."last one on eBay sold for this"...then you should have bought it on eBay.

The existence of the tool bag who runs Platinum has no respect for the hobby. Those guys (along with Blez Bros) are the absolute worst.

Whoa, this guy is tough.

I think this just shows you the mindset these breakers have. All about the $, no thought given to a player collector going after a rainbow. Because, why would anyone want to do that, you don't make money that way.

I disagree. The gloves come in handy in case laparoscopic surgery or a coronary bypass is needed during a live break.

What a moron. I wonder if panini knew about this... if he buys a lot from them he may have contacted them to ask for a replacement for damaged card. They may have said we need proof it is damaged and we will make a new one to keep customer happy. He makes the video for shock factor to get attention, gets irrefutable proof the card is damaged, and gets a replacement. That scenario makes the most business sense... or maybe he’s just going through manopause....

This card is going to "sell" for a lot of money. Is he going to be stuck with a bunch of ebay fees after this?
