Chamberlain/Russell/Jordan
with Ron Harper and Bruce Bowen.

The best defensive team possible with the 2 most unstoppable offensive players of all time.

I fail to see how Russell comes out and guards a unicorn like Lebron. Prime Lebron is a good shooter. And Russ certainly isn't quick enough to stay with him or athletic enough to elevate with him [I mean like no one is not a shot at Bill one of the alltime greats]

Since Drazen made an all-nba team I swap him out for Conley and Odom as my bench.

Most fun would be AI, MJ, Wilt
with Bowen and Harper rotating in on D.

Prime AI would send Steph to the hospital every night on his reconstructed ankles...

Lebron is too quick
Lebron is too strong
Jumps too high
Lebron is the best passer ever

Lol, wtf. Dude is 18-31 in the finals against his contemporaries. Suddenly he’s unbeatable against all these fantasy teams.

He has a mythos around him like nobody else I’ve ever seen. I’ll give him that.

Yeah all those Finals losses playing with Curry and Shaq....oh wait! rollseyes.jpg

And I don't even like Lebron.

Russell played with how many Hall of Famers? 10 or 12? LBJ has played with one that I know of.

Sidenote: you don't think Kyrie will end up making the HOF? I can see Love and Bosh not making it (although I'll bet on them making it)

In this fake scenario he will have stud teammates and he will be going against a super team as well.

So the difference will come down to mental attributes and intangibles which he is not near the top of an all time list on.

But sure he’s unbeatable if he just had Steph

I don’t know how many hof teammates Russell has. But if you are counting ones such as Satch Sanders as hof or Don Nelson and then saying Lebron has had one I don’t know what to tell you.

Keep wishing for Ben Simmons to hit 3s I guess.

Here goes nothing:

MJ/Chuck/Wilt with Mike Conley and Toni Kukoc

Conley and MJ can take turns switching while Curry goes under screens. Prime Chuck (Philly Chuck) should be fast and athletic enough to hold his own against LeBron and not get killed. And I think Wilt would be too for Shaq.

I'll try to make LeBron and Shaq beat me one on one. On the other side, there's not a lot of shooting but running the triangle with MJ and Wilt is like a geek's dream.

I am guessing that you never saw Bill Russell play. He could guard guards. He was easily athletic enough to shut down LeBron and block his shot if LeBron dared to try to drive on him. Russell and Chamberlain were the 2 greatest shot blockers of all time. LeBron's team would score zero points at the rim.

Pippen/MJ/Rodman could hold Curry/Lebron/Shaq.
