6+1 flush mags or 7+1 with a pinky extension. Single stack magazine and very slim. I am not a polymer fan so a majority of my guns are metal. I carry this one in my pocket. The big thing is selecting a gun style that fits you best. Single action only like the p938, striker fired like a glock, da/sa like a p226 (my preferred style amd what I carry when not in my pocket), or dao/dak like a hamerless revolver. All are vastly different. You have to find something you're comfortable with not only to shoot but also to carry with one in the chamber. I have done so with every gun regardless of its action or lack of safety. A buddy however will only carry one in the chamber if he has a manual safety. For that reason he shouldn't attempt to carry a glock although he does occasionally. Getting behind a gun and seeing that you can control and still feel comfortable wielding it is what's most important though.

Go with 9mm if you only shot in basic training you will want to get comfortable with the weapon and accurate. You will find going to a gun range is expensive real quick . I also highly recommend going to range and renting a few different guns to see which one feels comfortable in your hands. The Smith Wesson 9mm shield is one of the most sold concealed carry guns. Look at Compact glocks also
they don’t have safety’s so keep that in mind if you didn’t know . |

I carry a .380 Bodyguard M&P(Smith & Wesson) and love it. If your looking to conceal, this is a good gun for that. And sometimes you can catch a great deal at guns shop's for this gun. The only bad thing is trying to find a good leather belt holster for it. Most of the time I just carry it in my back pocket. For under $250.00 a good name and a great gun.

Same here but we can use a gun "sleeve" holster which is what I use right now. Looks like this:

I had a Super Red Hawk .44 mag I got for a B-day gift when I when I turned 18. I was 5'10" 135lbs and that thing was hard to control for my little a$$ I use to take it bear hunting. I gave it to the friend (ex GF's Dad) that got it for me when I left for the Army. It's a German 357 that has been being made since the 70's or longer. I forget but read up on it when I bought it. I can't decide if I like my new grip. It's a grip from an 80's German model ![]() ![]() Stock grip...

Not sure what you're referring to. It's just the equinox line. I have 3 from it.

If you have a clear plastic gun can you walk around with it in your hand?

I was looking to buy a handgun for C&C yesterday. I own a bunch of firearms, but no handguns. The guy at the store was suggesting a SIG P365. Do any of you own one of these?

I have one and I carry it comfortably. I bought the one with the night sights and it’s easy to stay on target. It was surprisingly accurate and feels comfortable in the hand. I bought the extended magazine as well. There was reliability issues with the first few batches that were released (dead trigger, broken firing pin) but I haven’t heard anything negative after they addressed those issues. I have had no issues with mine and after over a thousand rounds I have yet to have a malfunction.

Thanks. I will test that one out at the range, and then buy it if I like the way it shoots.
