Default 09-10 Stephen Curry NT RPA Platinum Sale ?

Did anyone else notice this ending price ? According to the listing this just sold for $215k. I know it’s likely the best copy of his rpa money can buy but wow if sale goes through. Had it been his NT rc logoman auto 1/1 I’d understand. I do not own any Steph but I always like understanding the legitimacy of sales of this magnitude as I’m sure many others also do. Maybe probstein himself can confirm if it does go through

I saw that earlier. I don't know what to think. My gut says no way but some people have A LOT of money. All I know is very few people will believe this sale.

Hilarious if this is true. Then it will be reslabbed......and have 10 edges and 10 corners subs.

A collector had contacted Probstein about the legitimacy of the sale and forwarded me the email, and he got a “yes” response. Pretty incredible sale price for the owner if all holds true. I’d guess the buyer of that card felt it’d be the next best thing after Curry’s NT RC logoman auto 1/1. Will be interesting to see if the buyer of the card posts it publicly

If you search for the card on worthpoint, it was previously slabbed as an 8.5. May have possibly been altered?

$400K and yet you still have to pay $100 for shipping.

Pretty obvious that it was trimmed. Look at the left border when the card is vertical.

Centering and corners both went from 8.5 to 9.5. Edges went from 9.5 to 9. Surface went from 9 to 9.5.

Crazy that somebody would pay that much for an altered card.

Here are the two pics for ease:
Hard to tell with these pics. I will say the original 8.5 centering seems low. Maybe theleica can work his magic?

Paging theleica...he can match these photos up and make a video to show if there's any difference.

L/R centering (when the card is vertical) went from 55.4/44.6 to pretty much 50/50.

The top border definitely looks slimmer in that new bgs holder.

Haha just edited that. The closer I look the more it does seem like the top white border (laid horizontally) seems thinner on the 9.5.

I tried to do it in Paint real quick but I'm not 100% sure the scale is right. He is much better at it

You don't need him to do an overlay. It's different to the naked eye, and I measured it for you
