I'm thinking they printed 1,000. There was 100 golden tickets and someone said they were seeded 1 in 10.

Here’s the card:
Is there anything on the back of the card?

I can say that while I wasn't at the national, seeing the talk about them got me interested and I have since bought a handful of them off Ebay.

Yes, there is some buzz...we will have to see, PRs this week and sales prices for the still fairly common cards will give us an indication.

not sure I like her auto on the front of the card....reserved for the players IMO--maybe just me though.

I'm with you here. I'd have her sign the backs of the cards, but not the fronts.

I love the boxes she signed though.

I enjoy getting sports art signed, even ona card. I’ve seen artists sign their originals on the back but lithographs are signed on the front. I’d lean towards the front myself.

I’d like the large cards (prints) and would pay big money for those...but wouldn’t care for her Autograph on any Living card myself...

I think there was a good amount of exposure for TLS at the show, but whether or not it truly moves the needle would be hard to say. I'd look at the PRs of the scrubs for the upcoming weeks, not Lindor week, to really tell.

While I understand the premise, I feel like signing the back does not highlight the fact that you obtained an autograph, especially when displaying the card. No wrong answer here, an auto is an auto, just varying opinions.

I saw the guy with the huge Judge #1 card/print, and was instantly jealous. But in reality, I'm not sure what I would do with that thing..
I'm still undecided if I should even frame/display the Lindor print or not, and that's much smaller than the Judge.

I saw just one booth that had Castellanos, and it was $200 or 225 or so.
The booth seemed to have all the cards, except for Markakis (maybe already sold?)

I agree, “to each their own”.

I think of the auto being on the back like an author signing the inside cover of a book. They don’t usually sign the front cover, and unless you open it, you don’t know it’s signed. It’s still nice to have though. And the signature doesn’t detract from the beauty of the face of the item. (Not that Miss Seto’s signature ever does that, mind you).

That sounds about right--that was a tough one to find at the show. There was a second booth that had a stack of PSA 10s.

I was actually typing out the book analogy, but decided against it - great minds think alike!

I love that Topps invited her to be at the show. What a positive experience!

Hindsight of course, but if only I had taken more TN cards! It's sad I felt greedy for getting multiple sigs while at the Topps booth. I ended up with 3 of the Lindor prints for 12 boxes purchased and she signed 2 of the 3-card sets (1 set on front, 1 set on back). I got to keep the redemption i posted (they wrote redemmed on the back), I did get her business card (didn't think to get it signed), nor did I think to get the LS boxed signed, and didn't have the 1953 Anniversary Wrapper card to get signed either.

I considered getting Pujols to sign his LS card but opted to not do so. I had her sign the back of his card... would have been an ebay 1/1.

[Note to self... whenever you go out, always carry one of everything owned of cards and collectibles in case you get a chance encounter with one of the subjects.]

I really hope topps has her at next years show as well!

I actually was on the Tristar photo op line (waiting for Gregg Jefferies), when Pujols arrived.
Ms. Seto and her agent/husband/?? took a photo with him, and I was able to capture a photo of them all together in the photo booth thing.
Felt creeper-ish, so I didn't post it here, but in the moment, felt like it was a cool little snapshot.

Default Huh?

"While I understand the premise, I feel like signing the back does not highlight the fact that you obtained an autograph, especially when displaying the card. No wrong answer here, an auto is an auto, just varying opinions."

Really????

So I top load the card and simple turn it around and now it leads my set off with an auto on the back of Jackie Robinson. That was difficult to display!

Couple of thoughts......she WANTED to sign the back of my card. Her call. Good enough for me and my partner who got it signed for me.

Also......how many Jackie Robinson's exist signed on the back? Or Jeter for that matter as I have both.......I'd venture just one of each!!!

Sometimes, obtaining a collectible that seems a bit weird turns out to be very rare, unique and typically a story with it, like my business partner enjoying an impromptu breakfast with her and getting 2 cards signed in person, albeit on the back....oh well! To each his own I guess!

Peace, Mike

PS I once met Walter and Wayne Gretzky at the SAME time and had Wayne sign the front of his UD card and Walter signed the back! VERY Cool! I then sent to PSA/DNA to get that beauty slabbed........and they did not like the Autos!!!! Bahahahhahahahahhaha, UGH!!!! In person no less! Actually, I think they probably had not seen enough of Walter Gretzky autos and did not pass it based on lack of exemplars! I still had to pay the $25 though for them to look at it! ugh!

PS 2 I also own the ONLY signed 1961 Wilt Chamberlain Hi # IA RC card from 1961 Fleer. Signed on the back! Slabbed by PSA/DNA Pop 1. I'm cool with back signed. Peace.

Originally she was just going to sign the prints for the gold ticket winners, I asked a couple times, and it was part of why I didn't make plans to be there right when she showed up. I think it's cool that she signed cards for people, and a no-brainer move on Topps behalf to let her do so and call some attention to the set. Just sad I missed it, as I had plenty of LS with me!

And I absolutely would want the front signed by her, in fact I would love to have the front signed, and then the athlete sign the front as well.

Not sure what was said that warranted all those extra question marks -- Even Elaine Benes would admit to Mr. Lippman that's too many..

In any event, everyone has their own preferences, nothing wrong with that right?
My preference is to display the front of my cards, and so I prefer autos on the front.

I shipped off my two Neshek cards for autos today. I was tempted to throw in my two Kingery cards as well thinking Pat would be able to get those signed too but figured it was a bit much. I saw that Neshek posted on his twitter account that he ordered 8k of his own cards...WOW!!! Really cool of him to offer to sign for all of us!
