Yup, this is the kinda card worth paying for. Gonna skip Buffalo Wild Wings so I can comfortably enjoy it at home. I really do enjoy women's MMA though so that's really all it's missing. I bet they could've found something decent to put in the prelims at least.
I'm probably most interested in the Holloway fight, but I'm probably even more curious about the Ngannou fight to see how he'll bounce back after that last fight. It's always a little hard for me to get into the Heavyweight fights in general. I like the smaller, faster fighters. |

Decent card for viewing. Pettis vs. Chiesa could be entertaining. Who do you like in the Stipe fight? |

I think it's close, but if I were to put some money down I'd put it on Stipe. It's hard to doubt the champ, but personally I'd kind of like to see DC with the upset. I like both guys, so I wouldn't be upset either way, but Conor McGregor has been annoying the hell out of me recently and I would LOVE to see DC with 2 belts so Conor's no longer the only one that's done that.
I thought the same thing about the first Rose & Joanna fight too, so after that anything's possible! |

Well that sucks, was just headed to bed and saw Holloway is out of 226. That’s disappointing, second cancellation in a row for him now.

That was probably the fight I was looking forward to the most. Yeah, starting to notice him pulling out a little more than I used to remember him pulling out. Hopefully they can re book that fight soon though. Francis/Black beast is the co main now I'd assume? |

That Holloway pull out put a huge damper on the card in general for me. Luckily there's enough intriguing fights still on there to justify the price in my mind. Not going to lie though all these canceled fights are getting to a limit if you ask me. Holloway has concussion like symptoms. There's no way you should be still going hard enough days out from a fight to sustain a concussion that's ridiculous. Some stuff is fluke luck this seems like a team problem to me honestly.

Does anyone know if they are going to let Ortega fight someone else?

enjoyed watching some professional fighters league fights. these guys were bringing it with 1 million dollars on the line. rick story is a top 10 for his division caliber ufc fighter, so he should have a pretty good shot. heard the -1300 and -1400 favorites got upset back 2 back, so imagine betting on those 2. shields is kind of washed up, so i don't know why he was so high. rooting for john howard or sean o'connell from the classic bosse fight.
violent bob ross is pretty good from the ufc. |

Well since there's no replacement fight for Holloway/Ortega I guess it's Buffalo Wild Wings for me tonight.

Ortega is going to beat Hollaway when they do fight. Submission.

Wow, I knew DC had a shot, but I never would’ve expected Stipe to just go down from one shot in the 1st round like that. Place went nuts! Good for him though, definitely made up for whatever the hell it was Ngannou and Lewis were doing.

Wow. What a night of fights. Lot of new directions for a lot of fighters.
I was surprised Stipe went down like that too. I thought he should’ve stayed mid range where he’s most effective. Not really looking forward to a Brock lesbar match up. But I guess for what’s left at Hw and the only draw match up there for DC. And Ngannou went from looking like the predator to looking like cheick Kongo 2.0. Crazy. |

Yeah, Brock doesn't interest me at all. I like to see the guys who put work in get rewarded, not guys who just show up for a title fight out of the blue. Plus it's encouraging more of Conor's WWE style nonsense.

The entire Lesnar bs was cringe worthy to watch. I understand it will sell and all that but its a dumb matchup and Cormier will starch him inside a round. Props to DC because I really thought Stipe had enough to get by him at HW.

Pulled this last year and wasn't sure what to think of it since he wasn't an active fighter at the time. Looks like I made the right decision just holding onto it =) NFS- I'm gonna ride this one out and see what he can do now that he's back! Really good card tonight overall.

Nobody watching UFC 227? Been a good one so far. DJ losing to Henry Cejudo was a surprise.

I actually had it 48/47 Cejudo just like the judges but I honestly thought they would give the nod to DJ. You can tell it’s new day in the fight game back in the day those close calls used to pretty much always go to the champ.

I was watching. I was at MSG for the last TJ/Cody fight and I was a little disappointed it didn't go for another round or two. Was hoping for more this time, but nope, that was that. I'd love to see those two actually fight for a good 3-4 rounds but Cody just seems to be his own worst enemy. I was spoiled by that Garbrandt/Cruz fight and was hoping he would have more fights like that in the future.
I had the Flyweight fight 2-2 going into the 5'th, and really thought Cejudo's takedowns made the difference. I was leaning Cejudo, my buddy was leaning DJ, so it was really that close. Personally I gave 5 to Cejudo though so was satisfied with the outcome. |

LOL article about former NFL player Greg Hardy knocking out a guy in 17 seconds. Look at who he fought. The guys boobs are probably bigger than the blonde ring announcer behind the two guys.
