Read is hard and annoying. I'm guilty of this in other threads.

No idea. It's not like I wanted them to ship everything to me for $5. It's pretty crazy for them to get away with this.

My bad...

Sure there is. I'm not a welsh. If I bid on something, I will pay for it. End of story. And, like jason, see above. I have clearly stated that I will be avoiding them.

And thanks for point out what I've already said about reporting it to eBay:

well if you know everything already then why waste your own time and members time

instead of complaining about this; it would have made more sense to request a cancellation of your order..... but instead now you are a stand up guy because you paid...... and then whine and moan about it

sounds about right for a thread on here

Yep. Just me whining and moaning. Definitely not worth notifying the collecting community that eBay's favorite sports card seller breaks their policy. Probably should just ask the mods to delete this since there's no reason anyone else should know about this. Nothing to see here.

To me PWCC made what less than 5 dollars on sales transaction side? Be lucky some one willing to take time to list cheap boxes and ship them unlike a single card which is much easier especially if your mail person is unwilling to accept a box unless priority(long story but yes because mail person walks in businesses here). Headache alone isn't worth the hassle think about it especially once you get the one guy who complains they didn't pull top card in the box monthly.

I really don’t know how anyone can defend this, especially when they aren’t exactly being upfront about it.

They chose to list the wax. If they can’t make enough from that without making up ridiculous shipping charges, maybe they should not list it.

Wut???

You are aware of how big PWCC is, right? Do you really think Brent and his wife are just doing this on a card table in their living room at night and then driving their Chevy Geo full of packages to the post office???

Brent makes a lot of money and probably upgraded the Geo Metro by now. It holds a lot of packages.

I know how big they are but considering between what eBay charges and what returns they have to eat perhaps in ridiculous claims not adding time spent fighting those yeah IMO not worth listing. My vendor stopped selling boxes and packs years ago because of nightmares. Way I see it be grateful they are doing that. Single cards is a lot less headaches and easier to win cases vs this.

Funny you mention this. Just bought a card where $4 was listed for shipping from them and after I paid realized I paid $6. Only $2 more but that’s still crappy on their part.

Yeesh! That’s insane.

Although, I’m sure some folks will wander in here to tell you to spend your money elsewhere/cancel/ask for a refund/etc.

I’d contact them and ask them about it.

So he should quietly pay the jacked up, against the rules shipping cost, and count his lucky stars they were kind enough to list the low priced boxes?

Nope he should have bid on someone's elses with a 93% rating and 12 feedbacks crossing fingers hoping the package is legit. If not spend hours of their life trying to recoup money and wrote another page on here dont use username IGOTUSUCKER.

If they aren't worth listing then they shouldn't let their customers send them boxes. They allow it because they take a good 20% of the sale. Plus it seems they are increasing their profits even more by charging about double the reasonable rate. Sneaky.

I don't know what kind of fees they pay to ebay but I'm guessing they don't pay 10% like you or the rest of us do. I don't feel sorry for them if they make 2-3 bucks on a box sale. Also don't feel bad for them if they are breaking even or losing money.

Your right those boxes aren't worth listing. To much hassle with that one customer a month this box looks open or I didn't get the card I wanted etc...

Update time:
Cards were delivered by UPS last night. No price on the label. For $30, I paid for shipping that too 10 days to arrive. Dang PWCC u cray-zay!!! Next stop will be obliterating their DSR's (it's a joke guys - I realize that 1 transaction out of a million is useless) and discussing w/ eBay.

Well if your items were valued under $100, this is a complete BS line they fed you:

The shipping total is determined by the value of the items (as we self insure all items for their full value)

Undeclared values via UPS still carry a max insurance value of $100. So you shouldn't have had to pay into their fictitious self insured scam. The actual freight charge had that cost built in with the carrier.

The total before the ripoff shipping was $59.65. I know I got screwed, but I paid and have brought it to light here. I also left them negative feedback and reported it to eBay (yes, I know they DGAF, but I did my part).

As I stated in one of my messages to them, there's no reason for them to charge more than $15 for shipping on this stuff. If they can't figure out how to ship 2 boxes of cards and a PSA slab for $15, they're morons. Hell, their choice to use UPS is even more crazy. Priority USPS would have had everything in my hands LAST WEEK.

It's a shame they let it play out this way. I have been a long time customer that they have lost. I spent a lot more than $60 w/ them in May. Their loss I guess.

Not to mention no buyer should be paying for insurance anyway since they are covered by eBay/PayPal.

It would cost a normal person $15 to ship those items UPS. Someone with a negotiated business account with UPS, probably under $10. This is the definition of penny wise dollar foolish
