Just baseball? Here is my Top 5:

1. 1951 Bowman Mickey Mantle (PSA 1): It’s my future 40th birthday present from my wife. I turn 40 this November and I cannot open it until then.

2. 2001 Ultimate Collection Ichiro Auto /250 (PSA 7): It was my recent 39th birthday present from my wife & son.

3. 2009 Bowman Chrome Mike Trout Auto (PSA 9)

4. 1991 Score Mike Mantle Auto /2500 (BGS 9)

5. 2001 SPx Ichiro Auto & Jersey: This was my very first high end purchase. I bought it when it first came out.

Definitely these! RCs of my favorite players. The Griffey has a story behind it and is the one card I haven't (even as a kid when the prices were $100+) and never will get rid of. I've always wanted the Ripken RC "to have" and just recently bought it. The Trout I bought for $12-15 in 2012 and just recently submitted...it makes me feel like I did something right with my life by holding onto it (lol j/k). Being in the military, I had to have the Tillman and recently submitted it. I wanted it so I could tell my son what a true patriot and hero he was...how someone can do what he did is amazing to me. The Griffey Power Alley was my favorite insert growing up. I had a Frank Thomas but sold it and wanted the Griffey instead. AND...cards that I need to get graded, RCs of all 5 Ohio State Heisman Winners! No, not a ton of value here, but they will all be displayed in my future man cave.

Sorry for the football, I don't think I have any other baseball that trumps them.

Some are not my highest valued but just cards I really like for one reason or another.

This is my favorite card of all-time. Has piece of a game used baseball from Ryans 7th No-Hitter. And, the piece has part of an umpires signature from the game and can be photo matched to the picture of the ball on the back

Love the 53 Mantle design. I'm slowly building to have MAntle from every year of Topps. Not sure if Ill ever get a 52 so for now the 53 is top dog.

Judge brought me back to collecting after a10 year hiatus. Ive got some higher dollar Judge cards but just love the clean black of this one.

Not an expensive card but I absolutely love the design and look of these.

This was my first vintage Clemente and is what turned me on the collecting him. This card was given to me raw as part of a secret Santa on the Becket BMB probably 15 years ago. First card I ever had graded as well.

Love the design of this card, just beautiful.

I'll take a stab at this but I'm sure it could change every day if I thought about it, haha.

Holy #@#@#@#@ Batman those mantles are just breath taking!

Sticking just to baseball and in no order..

-Such an iconic piece imo. Mantle has so few cert autos, and to be paired with Musial and yaz...so freaking cool! I remember my jaw literally dropped when I first found out about this card haha. And oh yeah...it’s freaking 25 years old!

-Probably my all time favorite players probably all time best card. I know there are some cool exquisite quad patch autos (I used to own one) and stuff out there of Jeter. But nothin beats his 93 sp foil to me! Guy had way to big of a part in my childhood to not have this one in my pc.

-Such a beautiful piece. Great fairly simplistic design and absolutely dig the “iron man” inscription. Think that’s the only iron man inscrip I have seen.

-love this one! Wanted it for awhile too. I just love how he is literally 16 or 17 years old in the picture for this card. At the time of the picture and the card being produced, no one really knew he was going to turn into one of the best right handed hitters ever. Way cool.

-probably the 2 best players in baseball on one card. Or at least 2 of the top 5ish players in baseball. Both came into the league around the same time and both set the league on fire! I love multi autos too. Had to have it.

-speaking of multi autos. Freaking love this one. Beautiful simple design. Actually think the purple is kinda unusual and funky and cool. Big bold on card autos. Without question the two best players in mariners history. and before panini came and ruined everything, this was one badass Ichiro auto.

-don’t really mess with chrome as much as I’d like to I guess. But once G put on the pinstripes I had no choice but to put him in the pc. Going to go down as one of the best power hitters of a generation with some of the best raw power ever displayed! And he is going to do it in pinstripes!

-el kraken! Been waiting for this guy to come on to the scene since we picked him up when he was 16! Let me just say this, it has been WELL worth the wait. Dude is probably already hands down the best catcher in the league (I know I know buster and yady might have something to say about that.) hopefully he is a big pillar for the Yankees for a decade!

-probably the 3 best catchers ever on one card! Just colossal cool. Pretty positive it’s the only on card of the 3.

-tough to pick a 10th but I’ll just go with this one. Beautiful design, newer piece, and did I say that I just freaking dig multi autos?? Correa shows potential of being one of the best offensive short stops of the last 25 years, and as for altuve, I mean I have never seen someone shorter than my mom be so freaking good at hitting a baseball. Love watching that dude play.

-Whoops, quick edit here. this is actually my 10th. Love this one too. Without question the second or third greatest switch hitter ever (mantle and Murray of course,) and another legendary brave too! I think it was ty Cobb who called Eddie Mathews’ swing one of the few perfect swings he ever saw. So cool!

I like how rats60 just low-key threw a PSA 8 Clemente rookie near the bottom of his post... damn

Some great baseball cards to gaze at over some coffee this morning; too many to even shout out. Just fun to scroll.

I'd need to do a separate favorite ten just for Judge by himself, though; these would be my favorite ten today from the non-Judge section...

Claw, do you have any superdupermulti- mojolicious high end Game Used underwear autograph modern cards? What you are showing off might be too high brow, vintage and historic for many members here

All joking aside. What a sick collection!! Well done Matt well done

Thx, finding some Mantles centered is literally needle-haystack. And I agree that Mantle/Yaz/Stan card is really an eye catcher; not only are the autos great, but they managed to get nice photos as well on one card. There are some modern cards I look at and like the sig or the relic, yet the photo is way too tiny.
