I still have the feeling that the Thunder are going to win, this is just a calm before the storm.

Of course, the refs won't let them win a game 7.

Jaded much? I was more thinking of the momentum and home court advantage, but I agree that calls swing towards the home team most games.

The officials could have suspended draymond several times in this game.

Haha, really I was just playing, but either way it would be more of an opinion rather than a fact.

And these are the same people that vote for things like MVP, DPOY, All-NBA and All-Defense. I mean, 3 of them actually voted Steph 1st team all Defense! I'm not going to say he's a bad defender, but the idea that he's the best defensive PG in the league is unreal.

April 13th - Last game of regular season April 16th - Curry plays 1st half and is injured April 24th - Curry comes back from ankle injury to play 1st half and suffers grade 1 MCL sprain because Donatas Motiejūnas couldn't run down the floor without tripping over himself thus soaking the floor with his sweat which caused curry to slip. Freak accident. Lucky he is still playing in playoffs. May 9th - Curry comes off bench to lead Warriors to game 4 victory over Blazers May 11th- Curry starts first game since April 24th and Warriors close out Blazers. May 16th - Long layoff did not help Warriors and they lose first game to Thunder after losing a 13 point halftime lead. So in the month before the series started against a Thunder squad playing their best basketball of the season , Curry played a total of roughly 3 games or 111 minutes and 8 seconds of NBA playoff basketball. Call it excuses if you want, but he is just not in the same basketball condition or rhythm that he was in during the season and that is hurting him big time in this series. With that said, that's life and no one will feel sorry for them if they happen to lose. |

I by no means am a basketball guy, but I've been following the conference finals pretty closely. It's been very entertaining despite all the blowouts. These are just my takeaways from last night. When Curry was out early in the 4th, the Warriors did a much better job shutting down the Thunder. I just don't think he matches up well defensively against the Thunder's size whenever he got moved off Westbrook. Westbrook's 1v1 mid-range game seemed unstoppable last night, so it's a tough spot for anyone to defend. Draymond looked a little lost there offensively, but it's important he's in. You can definitely see his effect on the whole defense. They need the intensity he brought last night, which it didn't seem the same the previous two nights. In OKC, it seemed like the Thunder were scoring at will - the Warriors CAN NOT be giving up 70+ points in the first half like the last two away games and expect to have a chance to win.

I really want the Warriors to win tonight, but without an adjustment by Kerr and his staff I really do not see it happening. OKC have looked amazing at home. Even in game 4 when Klay Thompson cut the lead to 3 (I think) in my head OKC still had the momentum. It was like they were waiting for the Warriors to stop throwing punches to hit them with a knock out, which is exactly what happened.
The Warriors need all the 50-50 balls. They need to get rebounds, not out rebound OKC, but at least fight for them on the defensive end - starting Green at SF and Ezile at PF might be the solution. On D, while I believe Westbrook was classless to laugh at Curry's D, I think Klay should handle him all game. No need for Curry to waste energy and cost the team points when Westbrook drives. I do not think Klay will stop him, the guy is not normal, but at least he will make him work for every shot and layup he takes. Finally, and since I did not post in this thread before, I do not think the Warriors are down 3-2 cause they are tired or cause Curry might be hurt. OKC have put on a clinic for most of the series and if they win tonight it's cause they fully deserve it. Oh and one more thing for the Spurs fan that said the Warriors are finally playing their first playoff team in 2 years. You are obviously clueless. The Rockets team last year knocked out Clippers who knocked out the Spurs. If any of those "playoffs" teams were good enough, they would have made it to the WCF and played and beat this "weak" Warriors team. Your argument, or lack of, can work on any team in NBA history. If you want to be negative and soar you can find something to point out in every NBA team that ever won a title. What if this player did not get injured, what if that team did not miss so many shots. What if Fisher did not hit that 0.3 sec shot ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
