Default 2016 TTM/IP thread

I've had a few successes that I'll post later, but I got this in yesterday and it's one of my favorite TTM'S ever. It is 16x20, and unfortunately got bent in half by the USPS. But in a frame you can't really tell. Ben was a big part of the Royals success, and he generously inscribed "2015 World Series Champs" and wrote his postseason Stat line. He is one of my favorite players, and I can't wait to see what he does with the Cubs. Thanks a lot Ben!

If you don't mind, how much did it cost to ship and how did you mail that?

I mailed it in a large photo mailer, 17x21 I think? And around 7 bucks both ways.

I went to the Royals and Twins game tonight and did really well.

Joe Mauer 2/3 Sweet spot ball, card
Ervin Santana 1/2 card
Byron Buxton 1/2 card
Eddie Rosario 1/2 card
Kurt Suzuki 1/1 ball

I got Mauer going into the stadium and also in the stadium. I was definitely happy to get him and Buxton!

I am going to the Royals and Nationals games today and tomorrow, and decided to try and graph the hotel last night.. Really, really, really happy I did.

Daniel Murphy 16x20. Really good guy. Said he'd sign after dinner, and kept his word. Talked with everyone, and was really down to Earth.

Anthony Rendon 8x10. Said he'd sign after dinner, and by time he got back, there were only three of us left. He didn't really want to sign, but did. He was kind of joking around about signing, saying "Why get me when you can get Michael Taylor!". But he seemed really cool.

Michael Taylor 1/3 cards. Was with Rendon on their way back. I was the only one who asked him. He hesitated, but signed. Didn't really say much.

Bryce Harper authentic jersey. He was awesome. Only guy to sign on the way to dinner, and signed for the people who came late, on his way back. Very down to Earth, and kind of the opposite of what I was expecting. I was already a fan, and now I'm even more so.

Really great results in 3 hours!

Dang! I'm extremely jealous! I was supposed to be in KC for this series but had to come back home over the weekend. Maybe next time. But nice successes!

Yeah, I could see it. I think the fact it was only three people made a difference. Pictures will come later. Did the impossible and got Harper again today! Got him on an 8x10 and it turned out flawless.

was this inside the stadium or him coming into the stadium? I so wish I was there! But maybe I can try for Trout this year since I missed out on Harper

He actually did both. He only signed about 5-7 going into the stadium, and then signed about 15 inside during bp. Really nice guy. Very surprised.

Really need to add pictures.. But today I missed out on Harper, but I think I got my fair share! Here is what I got today

Max Scherzer 11x14. Really sucks, because I got it in paint pen and he pushed down on it, and a ton of paint came out. Didn't turn out good at all. Should have just gotten it in blue. Oh well. Still cool he signed!

Daniel Murphy ROMLB Sweet spot. Awesome guy. Signed for everyone outside the stadium.

Max Scherzer ROMLB Side panel. Made up for the picture by getting him inside on a ball. Side panels don't bother me near as much as they bother others. It is also personalized. Really cool of him to sign.

Overall, got
Bryce Harper X2
Max Scherzer X2
Michael Taylor x1
Anthony Rendon x1
Jayson Werth x1
Dusty Baker x1
Blake Treinen x1
Daniel Murphy x2

Pretty amazing 2 days!

Thanks! Added pictures of the two balls. Will add the others at some point. I dropped off the stuff I got on Sunday and Monday at home. These are the only things I have with me right now.

Added some pictures up above and here are the rest.

Mauer official ball

Jayson Werth BP ball. Super cool dude. Asked me if I wanted it on the sweetspot.

Blake Trienen 8x10. Really nice guy. Got a picture because he is from Kansas.

Here are all the cards I've gotten in the three games so far this year

And finally the Harper 8x10

Sweet Harper!

Was the paint pen a deco? I had that happen to me a few times with my blue one. Had to clean them up with some wd 40.

Thanks! It was uni-paint. I first found out about them at a GTSM show. Joe Montana used them and they looked awesome. I used it for a Travis Kelce picture earlier this year and it looked sweet

I tried just letting it dry for about 30 minutes. I order matte/luster photos so it makes it really hard to erase. It doesn't look good, but it's at least fairly legible

Thanks! I had no luck at the hotel.. The rain made it so every player took cabs. I will be going today though. We will see what happens!

Only got two autographs today. Hosmer signed but only for kids. Bogaerts stopped 2 people before me, and so did Brock Holt. At this point I was a little discouraged.

Then Dennis Eckersley arrived, and signed for everyone. I got him sweet spot on an official ball. This is for trade or sale.

A lot of guys signed for kids in the BATS seats, but not for anyone in the regular. Big Papi was doing the same, about 2 minutes before the game started. I got lucky and the usher allowed me to stay down there up until the start. As I was hopelessly holding my picture down, he was walking away and then a woman with a sign asked him to sign her sign. He did, and I asked "Can you sign my picture real quick too please?" And luckily, he did. The lady had a crappy black sharpie, but it was either get him with that, or not at all. Not a hard choice! Overall, it was a pretty good day

Nice job. I didn't end up with anything because there was no Bp and the ushers make you leave right after Bp usually and since there was not any the ushers didn't let anyone go down by the dugout unless you had tix there
